@lady_valor_07 No. I dont even think those 3 words were ever put together in one sentence in the 80's. "Mental Health Day" GTFO. A Gen-X mom sent you to school unless you were actively puking or running a fever over 100.

Serious question- did your parents ever let you take a mental health day from school growing up?

It's insane to me that some MLB teams have to wait over a week to have their "Opening Day." Every team should have their home opener in either the first or second series of the season. "tRavEL LoGiSTicS" We have computers for that. We don't have that husband and wife doing all the team schedules by hand anymore.

Can I get an ABS challenge on this on from July 12, 1997? I’m pretty sure it was not a strike. @rogerclemens struck out 16 that day! Back in those days the veteran pitchers sometimes got the benefit of pitches off the plate but that’s because they earned it. @BhSails @JustinMacmahan They’re not, as long as they’re correct. Technically they’re unlimited. Which is a problem.

@JustinMacmahan Agree but they shouldn’t be limited to just 2 for the team.

The main thing ABS has shown us is that players challenging the call immediately is the only type of challenge we should allow. No more “iPad guy” sitting behind the bench checking the replay. If your players don’t know the call is wrong, it wasn’t egregious enough to overturn

@JustinMacmahan The ABS system would be perfect if the teams got 3 challenges per game, right or wrong. That means they’d only get used in key at bats. Fix the game altering mistakes without much disruption.

@kylecorwintakes @cdmauger Every home stand should be a minimum of 6 to 9 games, and that includes the first 6 to 9 games of the season. It would be very impractical to play only 3 at home and then go on the road.
