I expect some kind of peace deal to be announced shortly. As well I am concerned that many US investors will be big sellers of oil stocks when the US stock markets open tomorrow.

For those of you wondering if the Trump threats will work again, it won’t. It’s a good thing he didn’t set a deadline this time. Over the weekend, IRGC’s enforcement mechanism on the Strait of Hormuz was a major pivot point. Prior to that, tankers did not dare test whether it was open or not. Now that the IRGC has shown that it was willing to enforce, no one will try again and only with permission. This will leave lasting scars for shipowners. As a result, if you think this through, either there’s a permanent solution to this conflict or any half measure attempt at a ceasefire will not change the underlying circumstances on the ground. With each passing day, the production shut-in continues (11-13 million b/d). Demand destruction via high oil prices is the only way to balance this market. We are already past the point of no return for onshore oil inventories. The draws are here. Buckle up.

We figured out that dad has a psych med induced neurological injury, and has been suffering from akathisia. It’s been 6 years since any psych medications. Last summer his symptoms started, after a flare up likely induced by mold (CIRS) and stress. It was complicated by pneumonia and associated sepsis a month later. It’s been horrible. Neurological injuries from psych meds are far more common than people know. I made this video to explain what they are and what akathisia is because they’re not talked about enough, they’re misdiagnosed, nearly impossible to treat, and hidden by the pharmaceutical industry. I don’t plan on making another update about my dad, it stresses my family out, and myself, and there’s nothing more to say about it until things get better. I will be jumping up and down about psych med injury awareness from now on as it’s impacted my health as well, and is devastating. Prayers are appreciated still.

I've met with several major oil producers over the past few days. None of them are intending on increasing their 2026 capex programs, which means the meaningful increase in free cashflow will largely go towards share buybacks...the only upside to the recent sell off in equities.
