Senator Mike Lee confirmed that Senate Majority Leader Thune CAN cancel recess & the Senate can continue working with a simple majority quorum if democrats choose to go on paid vacation for Easter. This is huge!

It’s starting to look like this hunch was correct and that the IRGC, in a desperate attempt to set the region on fire and rally jihadists behind them, is trying to blow up the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount. This cluster munition flew directly over Al-Aqsa and landed just 200 meters away. This shell would have destroyed the domes. This seems to be their plan. It is the only possibile reason they are repeatedly targeting the Old City of Jerusalem. There are no military targets there, and most of the population is Muslim.
Saul Sadka@Saul_Sadka

This map of Jerusalem shows a black rectangle marking the Temple Mount, the site of the Dome of the Rock. The red dots indicate the approximate locations of Iranian missile impacts in Israel’s capital over the past two weeks. Could the IRGC actually be trying to hit Al Aqsa in some deranged Hail Mary attempt to frame Israel for damaging it?

🚨THIS IS SENDING SHOCKWAVES ACROSS AMERICA: I predict Democrats will either declare war or bend the knee within HOURS. They cannot contend with Trump relocating ICE agents to assist TSA when there are HOURS LONG wait lines across the nation. The American people SUPPORT THIS DECISION.
Gunther Eagleman™@GuntherEagleman

BOMBSHELL: Trump just said that he is going to put ICE agents in airports ALONGSIDE TSA if Democrats don’t vote to fund DHS. I say do it EITHER WAY.

This is a PHENOMENAL IDEA: "What if President Trump announced that ICE agents were going to be supplementing TSA agents inside all of the airports." The one KICKER that could cause Democrats to bend the knee immediately: "ICE agents are still being paid." This would not only speed up the democrat induced wait times, but it would SURGE deportations and get them with their stuff already packed! I support this.

After Sen. Schumer (D-NY) said Democrats don’t object to photo ID, Sen. Husted (R-OH) introduced a bill that would implement a nationwide photo ID requirement to vote, accepting passports, driver’s licenses, or tribal & military ID. Democrats blocked it. foxnews.com/politics/gop-s…

Iran executed the 19-year-old champion, Saleh Mohammadi for protesting the Khamenei regime. Nothing from Greta Thunberg, Gary Lineker, Charlotte Church, sectarian Muslim politicians. No hunger strikes on University campuses. Where have all the “human rights” activists gone?

We are in a period of historic global realignment. In 20 to 30 years it's quite possible that the global order will look like this: 1. The USA's closest allies will be Eastern Europe, Latin and South America, Japan, Israel, Iran, India and the Gulf Arab States. 2. Rapprochement between the USA, Russia and China will have been achieved. Not allies per se, but not a threat to each other. 3. The countries that will be the USA's biggest adversaries will be the Islamized Western European nations. NATO will have dissolved. Also we will be in a non-hot war of ideas with Australia and New Zealand. 4. Canada will still be Canada. And Africa will still be Africa. 5. Pakistan and Afghanistan will still be a mess. 6. I'm unsure about South Korea. 7. Greenland will be the most popular American casino tourist destination, second only to Las Vegas. ("What happens in Greenland stays in Greenland.") 8. Cuba libres will be great again. 9. The American flag will be flying on Mars in Elontown.

The industrial economy is starting to ramp. Flatbed trucking tender volumes has taken out an all-time high, eclipsing last year's steel and aluminum tariff pull forward. This is what the early innings of a manufacturing renaissance should look like: strong, surging flatbed volumes

This is a great example of the failure of credentialism. Random people have to explain basic political science to a so-called “Professor of Political Science.” The Strait of Hormuz issue is the perfect “allies” test. The United States has very little direct interest in the strait, as almost none of its ships or energy flows pass through there. So before the United States starts doing all the heavy lifting, it is the ideal moment to ask those who actually benefit from the strait being open what they are willing to contribute. The fact that they all said nothing is proof of what Trump has been saying all along, that supposed “allies” are really just freeloaders. So this was never about whether the Europeans could actually help with a handful of dilapidated frigates. It was a test, and they all failed.
Michael McFaul@McFaul

The United States has the greatest navy in the world. Not really sure why Trump is begging for help to execute his war in the Strait of Hormuz. Can someone explain this to me?

I finally got around to watching hours of depositions of the DOGE kids that leftist groups forced on them purely to harass them, saddle them with huge legal expenses, and, more importantly, discourage anyone else from ever volunteering for their heroic effort. This is what is known as lawfare. Legal processes are abused to make people’s lives miserable, not because they did anything wrong, but because others disagree with them on policy. Those disputes should be fought entirely in the political arena, but the left does not fight by Marquis of Queensbury rules. They do whatever works. In this case it is even worse because these DOGE kids are not political actors and certainly not MAGA activists. They were literally there to perform a narrow technical task: identify wasteful and DEI grants in order to save government spending. They are not even decision makers. They are essentially clerks who flag questionable grants and compile lists, after which political appointees decide what to do. One of these kids even testified that he had donated to Obama, but that did not matter to the mob. The whole exercise was completely beyond the pale and totally devoid of substance or justification. The lawyers pushing this spectacle failed to identify a single serious problem. By the end they were so desperate that they started questioning the witnesses about one ridiculously wasteful grant that apparently slipped through the cracks. In other words, they ended up arguing the opposite of their own case, effectively conceding that DOGE had been doing a great job while desperately clinging to the idea that it had not achieved total perfection. But of course that was never the point. The objective was intimidation. The kids were harassed, others watching will think twice before stepping forward, and the government grift machine will roll on.
