So far, Samanski is at a 63 GF% and 61 xG% through 8 games. Not a great sample, but he's absolutely earned a regular spot on this roster in my eyes. Really smart defensive player.

I've seen critiques about whether the coach will play him. Well coach played 23 year-old Vasily Podkolzin, 13 mins a night last year. He is playing Savoie over 14 mins now. I believe the coach will play Hutson more than some of you expect because he will earn it. 9/9

Quinn Hutson. In brief I would have preferred Hutson get called up after Xmas. That said he is kicking down the doors. Indeed, after Max Jones was recalled, Hutson went 3-1-4 in 2 games with 7 shots. He didn't pout. He played the same as he has all season. Very mature. 1/9
