Thinking about how I was chosen to be the “campus technologist” in 1996 mainly because I loved to play computer games. I would walk around 2 periods a day helping staff use our non networked computers. Key repairs included plugging back in their keyboard or mouse, getting lint out of the mouse, or explaining how to use the grading software.
