navigator.sendBeacon is a method for POSTing data (string, blob, formData...) to an endpoint asynchronously The browser guarantees to run these requests to completion, which can be a more stable replacement for onbeforeunload or pagevisibility events with a fetch Have you used this before?

Αυτό που βέβαια δεν καταλαβαίνει ο (κάθε) Προκόπης είναι πως στην Αθήνα της μηδενικής υποδομής για ποδηλάτες μόνο ελάχιστοι πολύ τολμηροί, με ότι συνεπάγεται αυτό, το παίρνουν. Οι υποδομές δεν είναι για αυτούς, όπως η άσφαλτος δεν είναι για να διευκολυνθούν οι κροσάδες

Δεν υπάρχουν πιο επικίνδυνοι οδηγοί από (πάρα πολλούς) ποδηλάτες, στην Αθήνα. Η περιφρόνηση τους για τον ΚΟΚ και η ριψοκίνδυνη συμπεριφορά τους είναι παροιμοιώδης. Δεν θα ήθελα να δω οτιδήποτε τους διευκολύνει σε αυτή την πόλη, παρά μόνο παραδειγματικές κατασχέσεις και πρόστιμα.

@ProkopisDoukas @Auslaender Χίλιες φορές να τους έχουμε στα πεζοδρομία και στις διαβάσεις και στους δρόμους με το ποδηλατο τους παρά οι ίδιοι να είναι πίσω από ένα γομάρι Range Rover ή (ακόμα χειρότερα) ένα Citroen 20ετιας χωρίς ΚΤΕΟ και να είναι στον δρόμο.

@Auslaender Με συγχωρείτε, δεν υπάρχει καμία δικαιολογία για την (τόσο σκανδαλώδη) μη τήρηση του ΚΟΚ. Δεν είναι τολμηροί αυτοί που οδηγούν έτσι, είναι παντελώς ανεύθυνοι και επικίνδυνοι.

This is not Semenya on a running track, which is unfair but not particularly unsafe. I don’t say that in mitigation, but it delivers a different risk assessment, for sure. When you are - as the IOC were in Paris - regulating a sport where the fastest route to victory is a head injury, you have to take ultimate precautions.

@wesbos Well, of course Safari had to do its own thing (ctrl.blog/entry/safari-b…) but I believe these edge cases were fixed / solved relatively quickly. Not sure if browser retries on network issues…

Dark mode is overrated So many crappy implementations, brown mode, white "shadows"... BUT, I'be been bitten too many times were users will just use an extension to fake it, and then it looks even worse. So you (I) gotta support dark mode

Funny how a single <div> made me switch to Firefox after a decade of Chrome... Work profile still in Chrome (for reasons), personal profile migrated to @firefox. Astoundingly simple import process, bookmarks and history migrated 100%. Let's see how this goes 😁

For the love of god designer frens. Critical elements with 2-5% grays for backgrounds and borders that look perfect on your ideal setup/lighting/ monitor don’t even appear on many screens. Grab your mobile go for a walk on a sunny day and have a look. They simply don’t work.

Υο @GreekAnalyst, επείδη όλο γκρινιάζουμε πάρε και ενα καλό: Ανοιγμα λογαριασμού απο Eurobank μεσω κινητού: Ωραίο KYC, εκμαιεύει τα πάντα απο ΕΜΕπ, παίζει ακόμη και image comparison μεταξύ selfie και pic ταυτότητος απο το ΕΜΕπ. Απο zero στο "εχω λογαριασμό" σε 15 λεπτά 💪🏻
