i get asked "where do i start with cognitive and performance enhancement" a lot. here's my take: don't start with RC's and heavy psychoactives. start with the basics that 90% of people are deficient in. - magnesium (l-threonate if you want it to actually reach your brain) - vitamin d3 + k2 (you're probably deficient, esp. if you work indoors) - citicoline (your acetylcoline levels are probably depleted) - creatine (plethora of physical and cognitive benefits) - actual hydration with electrolytes get bloodwork done, a full damn panel. see where you're actually at. fix the obvious deficiencies first. address thyroid issues. and you might just find that this eradicates like 80% of the problems you're experiencing. and this also goes without saying but if you're a man with low T, that fucks everything else downstream. fix that first. then optimize sleep. this is where epitalon and pinealon come in, but even basic sleep hygiene improvements can absolutely change your life if your current sleep is light and fragmented. then, when you've got the basics down and a steady foundation to build on, start looking at the actual performance compounds. armodafinil, bromantane, tadalafil, phenylpiracetam, meldonium, noopept, fasoracetam, the list goes on and on and on and this is where the fun begins. most people want to skip to step 3 because it's the fun part, but optimizing a fucked up system is no bueno.
