@paulg Software will become a thing you generate for yourself to solve something, which you pay for from a compute budget to make it as powerful as you need on demand. We all do this now with spreadsheets. Apps will become "full stack spreadsheets" you generate on demand.

@mouthofmorrison @jscarto @patrick_oshag Can’t beat northern Michigan in the summer! If you’re planning to head up there, I would recommend making stops in Charlevoix, Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Cross Village/Sturgeon Bay, and Mackinac Island. All are charming in different ways, and all are worth visiting.

@parkerconrad Two takeaways: 1) maintain a small surface area of business processes and 2) build each process with automation and scale at its core from the start

I keep thinking about an observation from @parkerconrad where he described how he thought Zenefits could scale business processes with people and automate them later, only to realize that it was incredibly challenging to do in practice
