You’re missing my point. You compared yourself to JK Rowling who sold 600m books. You never did anything close to that even though you could and should have. Why? A billionaire stopped you from redefining computing. I know you created products, you are enormously impressive. You didn’t *ship* lots of products, Facebook bought your company and ruined the space before you could do that. My point is what is impressive about you is that you build, not the financial gamesmanship. Financial bullshit is something a lot of mediocrities can do. I mean doesn’t it bother you to see a guy fuck up your work just because he captured a monopoly? Don’t you see how we’re going to lose to China? Don’t you realize the massive over-indexing of power for someone like Zuckerberg - who actively transferred tech to China - is horrific? Of course you do. The single largest form of theft in America is wage theft. $50 billion a year are stolen from American workers. If a billionaire amasses their wealth by underpaying their full-time workers so severely that they must rely on food assistance and government programs to survive, then no, that wealth was not earned by one individual - it was a wealth transfer subsidized by underpaid American workers and the public who get stuck with the bill for large corporations free-riding off our systems. The point is less about individual morality. It’s more about how our current economic reality of shattering inequality rewards screwing over workers and exploiting essential systems at scale. We’re talking monopoly power. Rent-seeking. Wage theft. Profiteering. Stock buybacks. Destabilizing housing markets. Companies using SNAP/EBT to underwrite their wages. Massive government subsidies or contracts to corporations following lobbying and dark money in politics with little to no oversight or accountability. Some people get enraged that I draw attention to this. That’s on them. Let them call me shrill, dumb, inexperienced, girly, uneducated - these folks will say anything to distract from or undercut the truth that working people are getting screwed, and giving people a fair shake means we must have a grown conversation about reigning in abuse of power.

Update on the Bitoshi Index... Ord is sync'd, my Bitmap Indexer is mostly working, just tightening the logic and testing the data against other sources. The tool compares each individual ID between multiple data sources. I'm generating a merkle tree root when testing ID ranges to give me a comparison proof, so I don't need to manually check each individual district, and I don't have to trust the comparison tool. Doing this helped me find some bugs in my data logic that I'm now fixing. Once I've finished this, I can move onto some fun things, and my first main goal is to build the realtime Signal indexer. Currently the Signal is kind of dead on arrival because I don't have a realtime data source. But very soon I will. And the index will do much more than Signal. I'm going to index Distict Toshi sizes based on Block tx output values (+ fees). This will give us a data source for perfect District sizes. With this, I can build the Bitmap map type that uses exact values. I also intend to create a realtime worldtree of Bitmap, and a super secret Bitcoin native project that I believe will be useful for many reasons. ⚙️ I've got lots in the works, it's just a matter of keeping it all straight in my head, putting horses before carts.
