@nationaltrust I appreciate this but as it’s daylight until 10pm here it’s poor to have to move cars and therefore all beach kit off by 6pm. This change is very disappointing if you wish to spend a whole day on the beach. 😔
@cj_sheff Hi Claire, thanks for getting in touch, we’re sorry to hear this. From July 1 the car park will be open until 8pm. You’re still able to access the beach on foot after this time. We hope this helps.
@nationaltrust it’s a real shame and rather ridiculous that Portstewart Strand has to be clear of cars so early on a beautiful evening! A whole day trip to the beach has to end before teatime. 🙄🙁
@O2 since getting many messages about necessary work being done nearby my phone call signal has deteriorated dramatically. I can’t have any length of serious conversation at all in my house or outside in the garden where I go to improve my signal. I’m in S6, Sheffield. 🙄
