@yoxics 4k is enough for some people to pay rent for 3 or 4 months. Or fix their car.... get caught up on immediate bills. This feels a little out of touch especially for people who are stuck in financially difficult times.

Look at the size of this unused @CitiBikeNYC rack. The bike lanes block access to the curb and the bikes block the sidewalk. Good luck seniors and handicapped!

@NYC_DOT Redesign Grand army plaza to improve safety is great but to ban cars is a nonstarter. Flatbush ave extention , DOT is trying to divert traffic but cars have to get by to attend the Brooklyn Nets basketball games. Nets owner Joe Tsai will be angry fans have to drive around.

the people who want NYC to be a car city should just move to anywhere else in America tbh.

Elimination of two travel lanes and the addition of a two-way bicycle lane.

This will bring trafffic to a complete standstill on the uws. Anyone who lives up here knows that 72nd street is a main artery to the east side. Emergency vehicles are already impeded because of ridiculous bike lanes on CPW / Columbus where delivery trucks need to park- blocking all traffic. In this model, Amazon/ fresh direct trucks will block the one car lane creating a major impediment to any emergency vehicle or car. @Maria4Dist6 @GaleBrewerNYC

In a few years, politicians have gone from wanting to ban ride-share to protect taxis to wanting to ban self-driving to protect ride-share It is almost like the underlying instinct is to restrict all new technologies and modalities regardless of rapid consumer adoption

The data show that accidents with "serious injury or worse" are 92% lower in cars that are driverless.
