They were 18-27 when they made the Gar Heard trade and then finished 24-13 to sneak in. Today's fandom would have buried them when they made the Gar trade.

Ring culture has ruined a lot in sports.
It’s permeated into the Suns season and quite frankly, I’m sick of it.
Because some of the best things come without rings.
But maybe that’s just my Southwest Bias.

Even if Walston is projected to be ready by then, it seems like it would be easy to bring his time out for 60 days (backdated to 3/23 like Merrill Kelly if he went on 15 Day IL). It is close enough to not be an issue, and Walston will be optioned to Reno anyway.

ASU is shaking up its weekend rotation just four weeks into the season, replacing Colin Linder with Alex Overbay on Saturday as well as Kole Klecker becoming the third Sunday starter this year.
