Deleted the "insult" tweet RE: Watson. Wrong wording. I wasn't surprised the Nuggets started at what amounts to slightly more than the non tax MLE. My surprise is just how far apart Watson and the team are. Like about a full 10 million per season apart. That's a LOT.

If Duren keeps his asking price high, him back on the QO isn’t the worst thing for DET.
It’d give DET $36m under the tax to make creative upgrades mid season.
If he plays well, & DET is his best offer next summer, would he really still walk away?
