Cartesi will be fine. Out of @VitalikButerin ‘s list of what L2s should be we hit (i), (ii), (iii -for computation) and (iv). It’s the payoff from taking the hard route and differentiating early. Harder to build, but bigger probability of adding real value . @cartesiproject is built to be future proof. Its important enough to add value to wherever ethereum’s roadmap goes!

Solid piece by @joaopdgarcia Scaling in 2026 isn’t “L2 vs L2”. It’s execution + DA as first-class design choices. EVM for composability, custom execution for compute (see @cartesiproject), and DA that doesn’t bottleneck your app.

aiming for reach is the wrong way to grow your socials. you need to aim for depth. think of it like a plant growing. before anything shows above the surface, all the work is happening underground with roots forming on social, that underground work is consistency and presence: posting regularly with something worth saying, replying, engaging, building familiarity, trust, and context over time. most people try to grow tall too early by chasing reach. but without roots, nothing holds and the moment attention fades, everything collapses. long-term social growth comes from depth first. reach shows up later, as a side effect, when people care enough to repeat your message for you.

Building decentralized social media is immensely difficult. I think Neynar is a great team to inherit it, but even if nothing becomes of Farcaster in the future I firmly believe it was worth the effort to build anyway.
