Years ago a junior dev in my team built a web service that would take a full SQL as the input, and run it straight into the database. He argued this would make it the most flexible, simple approach and any use case would just work.
We had to patiently explain all the things that could go horribly wrong with that.

In act of incredible resilience, she packed mud into her stumps to stop bleeding out, crawled back up the cliff and walked 5 km completely naked until she found help.
Mary survived and later testified in court wearing prosthetic arms.
Singleton was arrested but controversially sentenced to just 8 years. That lenient sentence backfired, when in 1997 he murdered another woman.
