@baileyfi2 @simonso15792314 @Alexarmstrong Back in the day, white people carried out armed robbery to break into banks, stop trains and rob them.
English

@simonso15792314 @Alexarmstrong Did they break into the shops and steal ?
English

@Brumbaclart @ArchRose90 So 'kids' get a free pass to injure adults, or like in the last 24hrs shoot another 'kid' dead!
English

@ArchRose90 Because they are drunk grown men trying to fight the police, not school kids running away from the police.
English

@TheGriftReport Want to reduce accidents - increase minimum driving age to 20yrs old. And to make it easier for administration. 20yrs old before you can drink alcohol, smoke, get married, have children, etc, etc.
English

Green Party co-leader Zack Polanski wants to slash Britain’s motorway speed limit to just 55mph.
The plan also includes hiking fuel tax, slashing parking spaces and forcing drivers to re-sit their test every five years.
Greens say it will save fuel, cut accidents and make people switch to buses and trains.
Tories slam it as “out of touch madness” and a full-blown war on motorists.
This guy hasn't a clue has he?

@mattwridley Approximately 12000 wind turbines in the UK. Requiring millions of gallons of oil per year to operate…… Green energy eh!
English

There's not enough oil under the North Sea to affect oil prices...
...But there's enough to destroy the climate.
??
ITVPolitics@ITVNewsPolitics
'Those people who say new exploration licenses will somehow create huge amounts of energy for us... I mean, they're just wrong' Ed Miliband told ITV News that drilling for oil in the North Sea wouldn't bring down Britain's energy bills
English

@Electroversenet @ZackPolanski Not to mention the 80-150 gallons of oil each turbine needs every 6-12 months! No oil = no renewables.
English

Wind and solar are made in China using fossil fuels. They are shipped to Britain using fossil fuels. And are installed using fossil fuels. Then every 15 years they need replacing, repeating the process. Nothing about that is secure (we are reliant on China) nor 'green' (they rely on great fossil fuel input and intensive mining).
English

A huge betrayal.
Won't lower bills. Won't give us more energy security. Won't insulate from price shocks.
And sends a clear message to the world that we are backing new oil and gas drilling.

@myGridGB Electricity generation can’t be fossil fuel free - wind turbines rely on oil. Grid turbines require 80-150 gallons of oil each, every 6-12 months, depending if they are onshore or offshore.
English

3x more wind and solar
... plus 6x more energy storage
... plus 3.2GW of new nuclear plants
... and bioenergy only as a backup
Means that 99% of our electricity can be fossil fuel free

English

@mgshanks You mean oil supported wind! Every single grid Wind turbine needs 80-150 gallons of oil every 6-12 months to function. Your wind power in using millions of gallons of oil every year.

@STLD98 @colincwilliams @miriam_cates Everyone, including illegal immigrants get 'free' tax payers funded healthcare. And unlike illegal immigrants pensioners don't get free dental care.
English

@clivesinclair @colincwilliams @miriam_cates Free healthcare, pension credit, housing credit, winter fuel allowance, railcards, ect
Once these in-kind benefits are added in we are pretty average for a European country.
English

By 2027, there will be 3million pensioners who pay higher or additional rate tax. These people, by definition, are in the top 20% of all UK earners. Yet they will still receive a £12K a year state pension, in a direct transfer of cash from the poorer young to the wealthier old.
GB News@GBNEWS
‘You won’t let me talk!’ Journalist Carole Malone and @miriam_cates have an explosive debate over whether the triple lock for state pensions should be maintained.
English

@clivesinclair @TheAccountantUK @miriam_cates Name a single pensioner that receives no in-kind benefits. You clearly haven’t understood the terminology here if you disagree with me there.
Free healthcare is an in-kind benefit for example.
English

@TheAccountantUK @miriam_cates No pensioner is only just on the state pension though. They have access to additional benefits and are on average on a similar income to the average worker.
English

@colincwilliams @miriam_cates The “lowest pensions in Europe” is a nonsense state. It excludes all the extra benefits we give to pensioners.
English

@JackCH93 @colincwilliams @miriam_cates Give or take a few £, the new minimum wage is £25,000. Pensioners get £12,500. How do or have more disposable income. Most people on £25k still live with their parents. Pensioners have the upkeep of their home out of £12500
English

@BankofScotland I received an email last week saying I had digital correspondence in your App. Logged in - nothing unread? This week, I received a txt msg from you (confirmed by you) that I was not receiving emails and to check app to confirm email address? Sort it out please.
English

@L__Macfarlane Small boats don't 'land' most places in the UK. So explain to us all, how illegal immigrants are seen in almost every town and city in the UK........?
English

@Specialized_Cb @Jimtbn @unearthed2023 Ditto for EV’s - now calculate the added purchase price of an EV. And don’t forget public charging costs - unless you are suggesting no one uses them.
English

@Jimtbn @clivesinclair @unearthed2023 Yep
Also,
Fossil fuel powered cars will be also be charged to drive around cities
Fuel duty increases coming yearly
Higher 1st year VED’s
For EV’s, 3ppm is changing my fuel saving from £2k a year to £1.7k a year, before any of the above increases.
English

‘Pump anxiety’ from soaring fuel prices prompts surge in interest in EVs’
Is it any wonder? Filling up a diesel now costs £100
Charge an EV at home, and you’ll do the same number of miles for £10

@RTandapany @TalkTV @JuliaHB1 And no rocket - AI generated. The Apollo missions? AI didn’t exist and flights were tracked by many, including USSR.

It’s barking mad to call Artemis II “colonial expansion.” Colonialism was about invading real countries, ruling real people and looting real resources; Artemis II is four astronauts doing a 10‑day lap around a dead rock in a tin can. There’s no land grab, no natives, no guns, no plantations. Slapping the word “colonial” on that doesn’t make you profound, it makes you sound historically illiterate and weirdly anti‑human.
