I’m feeling unusually patriotic tonight. Must be the Olympic hockey gold. The beautiful thing about the United States of America is that we have made so many mistakes. And then we fixed them ourselves, sometimes with gunpowder and blood. But we fixed our own mistakes, and while we still make them, we are also still a people dedicated to keep fixing them. Which, in the end, makes us the least imperfect nation ever to exist. USA!

@permabulla I read it as the opposite. I believe he was replying with this to “the first amendment doesn’t include speech that incites harm or undermines others”. He’s taking a stand for the First Amendment and Charlie both, saying that offensive speech is precisely what the 1A stands for

Jacob Coats is putting it together this year. Since graduating undrafted in 2021, the 27-year-old righty has battled to get here. He's been as high as 100 mph and currently holds a 3.16 ERA in Indy ball. A feature we made on him a few years back.⬇️

Jacob Coats is a guy that deserves another chance at pro ball, I’m convinced. Previously High-A with HOU. Plus FF 94-96 18ivb, with a great SL and CH. Elite whiff rates. Currently a closer in the American Association for the RailCats. 3.08 ERA and was an all-star this year. Some guys just want it more. The character and work ethic show loudly for Coats. @coatsjacob
