@WATCHHOLLIE when I do my audio I just mix is slightly quieter, so I make it peak in the yellow as opposed to the red but the concept you're showing is fundamentally the same.

My biggest pet peeve is when someone gives advice about audio, AND IT'S WRONG ahh With a degree in Post Production (editing) and 10 years working in the industry for tv, my advice is... Audio Mixer OBS: Voice: -5db (THE RED ZONE IS GOOD, never get to 0) Game: between -20db & -15db (Yellow) Music: between -45db & -35db (Low Green) People saying never to put audio in the red zone are flat out wrong. You want to avoid distortion, which is when it peaks at 0 and above, but your voice should be louder than the game. Hope this helps!

@Micks_Sticks @TwoFace_202 @ENC_EN It's not about trust It's the fact that no coach in the scene has a clue who it is, so we are all wondering, either they're lying to keep it a secret (which I get) or it's someone that everyone will say doesn't deserve it

Still don't understand why more people aren't signing up on ZA Esports Hub by now 🤔 For Players - sign up, register for your title, done. Literally nothing else required. Every tournament you play, every placement, every team you've been on - it all gets logged and tracked for you. You end up with an actual "esports CV" without lifting a finger. Think about how useful that is when you're trying to get picked up by an org or just want to look back at where you've been. For Teams & Orgs - I'd be surprised if any ZA org has built something internally that actually tracks rosters and all their ins and outs, match history, and performance properly like I've done with my org management software. The Hub does that for you in a lightweight way. Head-to-heads, placement trends etc. It's all there. But none of it works if players aren't signing up. And this doesn't even mention any of the other aspects but its the most important stuff. That's literally it. Players sign up, everything else falls into place. So what's the hold up? Thanks to those that have already I guess they take it a bit more seriously 🫶🏻

Hey @Micks_Sticks As far as I understand, the Valorant coach position for ENC is confirmed. The ValZA community and I are all wondering who and what the selection criteria was. Many eligible coaches, such as myself, applied over a week ago and were told the spot is already taken
EsportsWatchZA@Esports_WatchZA

We reached out to @Micks_Sticks for some updates around South Africa's @ENC_EN progress, we have 13/16 coaches already secured. With names not being available to the public till a later date. Struggle points are Mobile Legends Bang Bang PUBG Mobile Honor of Kings So we are calling on the community to reach out to @Micks_Sticks with relevant info if available! #ENC #EWZA

Hey Valorant/VALZA community, I was "banned" for "3rd party applications" while playing ranked last night. As I do not cheat I assumed the false ban would be resolved once I contacted RIOT support. However, in the ticket they informed me the matter is final and the decision will not be reverted. We have tried to contact @ItsGamerDoc, but unfortunately it does not look like he is going to see our message. I have never cheated and I don't know which program could have caused a permanent ban. I have hardly any apps open in the background while playing, and definitely none that could trigger vanguard anti cheat. I have not changed anything on my specs/hardware/usb ports in the last few weeks and have not installed any new or suspicious programs, the only thing that raises any alarms is the fact someone tried to log into my account yesterday a few hours before I was banned in which they did not get through the 2fa and I immediately changed details. I’m sharing this tweet in the hope that it reaches someone who can help me. I simply want to know why I was banned and to prove my innocence. I am willing to provide any information/assistance needed. I’d really appreciate any replies or retweets to help get it seen by the right people. Thanks guys hearts @RiotSupport BIGSTEPPAHEARTS#OWNED tracker.gg/valorant/profi…

@Demonix77x The scene is missing nuances for org to org/interpersonal engagements. Like scrim etiquette and such.

If only we could get our "esports" players in ZA to be trained like LLMs. Pretraining -> Fine-tuning and finally Alignment.

@Productivepxnda @Shy_Lupus I would recommend that you find a way to make your development programme a seperate entity from the org. The hardest part finding good coaches.

@coder578 @Shy_Lupus Amethyst then I'd say I'm on the same page. The only reason Cubs is connected to PDCY is because it won't survive without it. I don't want credit or some sort of pat on the back. I want these players to go win.

That's actually exactly what we've done, yeah. As you know (you were involved at the time), a player such as @Shy_Lupus for example started at PDCY, made his way out of the pipeline and is now in the competitive scene. (1/4)
Amethyst@coder578

@Productivepxnda I do think that fundamentally, if you were to tell me that you've developed a pipeline where a player joins PDCY, they gradually get better at the game over a few months and then they leave to pursue their own career in esports then I'd say that you're not just saying it.

@Productivepxnda @Shy_Lupus Now take that and remove it, in it's entirety, from your org. I'd say that my main goal when approaching this type of thing is not to take the credit or retain talent. My method would purely be a development programme into a full time team for some otger org, preferably abroad.

@CRMN_Sho I love the direction of this but what about every other aspect of that player's development? Not just tournament wise, i think that teaching them to become competent players is one level to a wide range of holistic development that could occur in the scene.

Giving lower tier players the experience of competing. It’s about motivating lower tier players to improve. It’s about coming together and building community. They deserve to be a member of a community in the same way that high skilled players do.

Hosting Valorant tournaments for lower tier players isn’t about proving that they’re the best of the best. If you truly think those players don’t know that they’re the best don’t quite stack up to higher tier players, then you might be out of touch. It’s more about…

@Productivepxnda The biggest end goal for developing reliable talent is you want them to be on stage and win shit. You'll realise that you have to build talent as if it were a business investment into their future in esports, no half-baked bullshit.

@Productivepxnda Overstatment? Sure... but the way I see it is that all of the talent you develop never leave PDCY, they're kinda just in the org. Correct me if I'm wrong, but do you ever give those players exposure to the broader scene so that they can eventually get picked up as talent?

Pandacity has been developing young talent in Valorant & other games for years now, and have always been told that either we "have too many teams," or that it isn't sustainable. I'm happy to see some attention finally go to developing players, but "no effort" is a overstatement.
Amethyst@coder578

@zaneyFPS @AfricanGaming @Esports_WatchZA @omnius_gaming @FE4R_Esports @NixuhCorp @NCTESPORTS @CSOesport @ESportsANews @Mettlestate @VSGamingWorld Basically there's no effort to develop fresh talent in the scene. I'm hoping to fill that gap soon 🤝
