Awful to see this happening to the people who help bring local news to all parts of Colorado and a huge problem with media conglomerates that don't invest in the local communities. The Chieftain should be printed in Pueblo. #copolitics

Bad news: Gannett has announced that they're shutting down print production at The Pueblo Chieftain, effective August 13, 2023. The paper will be printed at The Denver Post print facility. 51 people are losing their jobs. Here's a statement from our union.

We are disgusted, but unsurprised, that for the second week in a row, a @cologop legislative candidate has spouted blatantly racist comments. The GOP has continued to silently condone this bigotry. We cannot stand by & allow the GOP take back the House. The stakes are too high.

Racism and hate have no place in Colorado. Period. @Junie4Colorado will be a wonderful legislator for Boulder and the state. We are lucky to have her leadership. DeOreo should be ashamed and @cologop leaders should finally stand up to extremists in their party.

The SCOTUS decision on Roe is horrifying and will harm millions of Americans. Colorado's Legislature recognized this threat & worked hard to protect abortion access and reproductive health care. Dems will continue to reject any attempt to undermine abortion rights. #copolitics
