The Rust rewrite of pnpm was moved to the pnpm repository today. Now we will make changes to the TS and Rust versions in parallel.

@zeddotdev @ Selection to pass exact selected code and @ Diagnostics to pass LSP errors are very valuable to me. Hopefully there will be a way to keep these editor context integrations

🚀Rolldown 1.0 is here!🚀 Rust-based high-performance JavaScript bundler. 🏎️ Runs at native speed that’s 10~30x faster than Rollup 🤝 Compatible with existing Rollup & Vite plugins ⚡The underlying bunder for Vite 8 After 2 years, Rolldown is officially stable and has 20+M weekly downloads. Companies like Framer & PLAID are already using Rolldown in production. Thank you to every contributor, user, and team that helped us get here.

@anthonysheww I guess a way this could be fixed is with expiring exemptions where ci fails when a dependency is ignored for too long, we do this at work for unused exports for internal packages

@colinlienard And manypkg! However, this is still incomplete. An exemption can be written into configuration for the sake of shipping that is never revisited and rectified.

You can do this, too. Steps that I took: 1. Find all unused package.json dependencies and remove them. 2. (If monorepo) De-duplicate any dependencies where you see multiple direct versions. 3. Calculate the largest contributors to our transitive lockfile closure from our direct dependencies. 4. Using 3's data, find low risk, high impact candidates that we can upgrade through minors/patches to reduce our transitive lockfile closure. 5. Using 3's data, find dependencies with trivial usage that we can inline. 6. Take a look at e18e\.dev to see if you can eke out any extra removals/replacements. The above are summaries of the actual prompts I gave to GPT 5.5 (xhigh) in OpenCode to get you started. I ran these agents in the background while I was doing mainline work. Really good ROI. My bet is that if you did this in your repo and gave it real attention, you could end up with much larger reductions.

@lockinmarv @bunjavascript it semi works but install/add commands still dont respect --filter= so you always have to cd into each app/folder which is super annoying

Does anyone know of a framework-agnostic router? The more I think about it, the less routing belong to a framework. The only specific thing is the conditional rendering part, which is a trivial adapter to any framework, given the router notifies you about navigation.
