I ended businesses, got people fired, made lawyers lose their licenses and a lot more on behalf of Charlie...but fair is fair--Pete Davidson has had endless jokes told about his dad dying during 9/11, including this exact roast where Tony said that if Pete's dad could see him today, he'd be rolling in his rubble. So, I kinda feel like either everything is okay to roast on...or none of it is. I say this as someone who loves Tony and hates Pete.

This discourse is all wrong. The MLS lobby is trying to will him into a WC spot. He’s 25 years old, has never played in a top league, and has struggled most of his USMNT games. The onus should be on him to go to a top league and prove himself before he gets into the senior team, which let’s be honest is deepest at his position! You shouldn’t be allowed to hide out at home and try to capitalize on the lack of any definitive proof that you’re unable to contribute against better teams. If he’s so good, what is the wait for him to head abroad?
