Nice piece on @RTENationwide about Rory's Fish and Tackle in Temple Bar. My Dad brought me in there for my first fishing rod when I was 7 and had some communion money burning a hole in my pocket. It was a rite of passage for countless Dubs.

DJT always creates beautiful places. The next step would be not using toxic chemicals on golf courses. It can be done, and people actually do care about this issue. "Vineyard Golf Club (Martha's Vineyard, MA) is America’s only truly 100% organic, chemical-free golf course, operating entirely on composts, bio-stimulants, and natural pest control to protect the island's aquifer."

The #LIVGolf business plan that will be pitched to potential investors will based around a few key pillars: - An expansion of player equity. Prior to this new business plan the only players in the league that were granted equity were the team captains. This will expand and non-captains will be able to own equity in the teams. This will further strengthen the bond between the players in the league as they give those players a true interest in the league's growth. Nearly a dozen players have reportedly expressed interest in either securing or furthering investment in their team or the league as a whole, with many more making introductions to potential outside team and league investors. This internal alignment shows just how much the players believe in the model. - A 10 event schedule that capitalizes on the momentum LIV has had in many areas of the world. This this pillar boils down to trimming the fat and expanding on what's working. I would expect to see the less commercially successful events drop off the schedule (Riyadh, I'm talking about you), and for the league to lean into the most successful events like Adelaide and South Africa. These events, by all measures, were very successful and show that the demand for elite golf around the world exists and is viable. The new approach won't be limited to "How do we replicate Adelaide?", but will also be "How do we make Adelaide even bigger?" or "How do we make Adelaide even more meaningful and memorable?". Take what's been shown to be successful thus far and grow it, while planting roots that will flourish in similar, but new markets. - A strengthening of the bottom line. This is a two-pronged approach that includes increasing revenues and cutting costs. A lot of that cost cutting will come from the lessened schedule and a reduction of corporate bloat, while some may include a restructuring of existing player contracts and reduced expenses in event operations. The other prong of that two pronged approach will be expanding on the continuing trend of increased revenue. By leveraging their most successful events and looking for opportunities to expand on that model those elsewhere in the world, there will be numerous avenues in which they can increase revenues. These events are largely funded by tourism boards and global sponsors, but the success of them will also allow for LIV Golf to ask more of existing partners, including their global broadcast deals. Keep in mind, over 5 million viewers watched the Adelaide event worldwide. - Leveraging investment to build towards profitability. The $200-350 million that LIV Golf is expecting to raise isn't simply an extension of runway. These funds will be used to develop global partnerships both in and outside of the golf ecosystem. These partnerships will accomplish multiple things. The first is the most obvious, they will greatly decrease the expected time to profitability. The second is enhancing existing relationships with events around the world to provide increased playing opportunities for current and future LIV Golf players. These relationships could also begin to lay the groundwork for potential pathways into the league as well as further integration into the global golf ecosystem. Overall, the pitch to investors brings clarity in terms of path to profitability, unity in terms of belief in the product, and optimism in terms of building on what's already been established.

3 of Golf’s 4 biggest stars have push back against Tours this year. Rory with PGAT schedule. Rahm with DPWT expectations. Now Bryson is toying with Tour life like a cat does with a mouse. The balance of power has rightly shifted & it’s in the player’s hands now.

@DKH013 True until you hold your dying child in your arms. Or you get a stage 3 cancer diagnosis. Or you become homeless. Or you walk into your bedroom to your wife getting raw plowed. Or your kid turns into a tranny. Or someone tbones you at an intersection and your legs don't work.

“Boycott over Israel takes some glitz off Eurovision final” the RTE fantasy headline. Venue sold out & estimated 150 million global audience expected tonight. Absence of RTE totally irrelevant. Its daily reports embarrassingly undermine its own boycott rte.ie/entertainment/…

Graham, I got a message last night from my family in Israel who had all gathered to watch the Eurovision Fr Ted episode, included was my 21yo niece who is proudly serving her country operating the Iron Dome. Israelis are tough, resiliant and generally love Irish people. Sure, it is tragic for them that we (as a nation) are gaslit, brainwashed and entirely ignorant about the middle east but they love Fr Ted and laugh at @rte.

This is all these sad scumbags have left- sad, stale, feeble jibes. Then they whine when they're absolutely despised by everyone else. Even the two mutually exclusive flags is enough to show this is a disordered mind.

Interesting. This is what Panti Bliss really looks like. He's a misogynist who dresses up as a woman when indulging his hatred. Still waiting for a single response to the dozens of lesbians who told you trans-identified men had sexually harassed them, Rory.

Not saying I disagree with the decision to penalize Garrick Higgo, BUT… We all know if Rory McIlroy was “late” to his tee time by a few seconds, the PGA of America wouldn’t have penalized him. And if they did, the golf media would be apoplectic over the move, not defending it.

Day 27— respectfully asking @TheMasters: How does pre-tournament course access actually work for the field? Is it truly equal for every player, or do some have meaningful advantages? Do players need to be accompanied by a member? Since most Augusta National members don’t live in Augusta, how is that arranged in practice? And does knowing more members translate into more access? As one of the four tournaments that define golf history, greater transparency would help fans better understand any fractional edges in what is already a game of inches. Appreciate any clarity you can provide. Have a great day.
