@conorsmurf @celticman10 Safe bet the software will be DaVinci resolve, it's in the @oide_Ireland notes and a no brainier for this. The basic version is a free install so you could get going once the hardware is in. They may have procured the studio version which is paid so that could be the one coming

Drama, Film and Theatre update, and LC subject, update: 1. No equipment 2. Last minute text change 3. Possibly no computers. Thus, no ability to actually complete the Film aspect of the course. (That's 50% of the course) 4. Schools still struggling with finding, adapting, rooms

OK but can we make sure the focus is on SUVs specifically. Many larger families that can't afford EVs buy older 7 seat MPVs (minivan style) out of practical necessity and would get shafted with a weight only tax.

Government should introduce a weight based tax for SUVs. If you can afford 80-100k for an Audi Q7 PHEV or similar, you should not be able to tax such an unnecessarily big and dangerous car for €170. A Toyota Corolla hybrid costs €190 to tax. Where’s the fairness in that?

@simonlewis The article raised concern about 'weak students entering teacher-training colleges with deficient skills'. As it stands primary B.Ed programs entry requirements are a H4 in Irish but only ordinary level English and Maths. Implication that a min. H4 in LC Irish is a 'weak student'
