@badlogicgames @zeeg I guess we can start small. If we can make use of a$20 Claude Pro sub work equivalent to a$100 Claude max plan using a combo of a local LLM model on a 48 GB latest MacBook Pro model, I would be very happy.
Or maybe I am better off using cheap Chinese models.

@badlogicgames @zeeg Feels like we need to find some way to use these expensive models to orchestrate local LLM models and get the work done (I am fine with it even if it’s slow as long as I am saving money). That would be an interesting cost-saving option.

i din't think anthropic is dumb. pretty sure they have data telling them that dev/socials sentiment doesn't matter anymore, as they've reached corpo decision makers' hearts and minds.

But I think Anthropic will release something new soon, like a new model, way better app, or crazy new features and then everyone will just flock back

Claude Code just raised weekly limits by 50%.
This puts Claude Code rate limits on par with Codex.
I cancelled my Max plan twice over rate limits.
SpaceXAI deal doubled the five hour limits.
Removed peak hour limits.
Now weekly limits up 50%.
Three rate limit increases in two weeks.
Anthropic is not playing around anymore.
Claude Code with Claude Opus 4.7 now has unlimited limits.

This means you'll be able to build on Claude without needing an API key!
Everything running on the Agent SDK will instead draw from a new monthly credit, separate from your subscription limits.
