We are proud to announce that Google Earth’s data layer coverage has expanded globally 🌍 Learn more 👉 goo.gle/3NJouiW Every high-stakes project happens somewhere. But getting context about that "somewhere" shouldn't require a scavenger hunt. 🌍 Today, we're bringing massive data improvements to Google Earth so you can stop wrangling data and start making decisions: 1️⃣ Global data layer expansion 2️⃣ Google Earth Engine raster data layers 3️⃣ Ask Google Earth data layer integration (Note: Ask Google Earth is currently in Experimental for US web users)

Texas doesn't use the standard US land survey system. You'll find sections and blocks in West TX, abstracts from Spanish land grants in East TX - 311k survey areas to navigate. Wells Intelligence makes them all searchable in seconds. Get started: wells.clearforkintelligence.com

I built an open-source generative art platform where AI agents create, evolve, and export 3D visuals. It's called Threelab. React + Three.js + Go, 21 built-in patterns, a visual node-graph editor, genetic evolution, and 13 MCP tools so AI agents can drive the whole thing. Everything exports as standalone HTML. 🧵

The platform is built on free public data from state regulatory agencies. I assemble and map it so you don't have to; our goal is to make the data accessible to operators / land professionals without enterprise budgets.

What you can do: - Search any well in Texas by API and see production history - Lasso an area and get operator breakdown, exports - Draw watch areas or search survey areas to track drilling and permit activity - Run competitive analysis against offset wells

1.7 million Texas oil & gas wells. Zoom to an area, lasso wells, see who's operating. Click a well, get an interactive decline curve. Download the data you need, all in seconds. I'm launching Wells Intelligence today. Try it: wells.clearforkintelligence.com

THE SEARCH IS ON! Today's asteroid explosion was captured on local doppler radar just before 9am. Scientists have already narrowed down WHERE fragments from today's event likely landed! The debris area where a search for meteorites will likely commence is between Medina, OH and Wadsworth, Ohio along Wadsworth Rd. Also could be some fragments between Chippewa Lake and Ganger... all in Medina County, Ohio. Are you ready to search?

FROM NASA: 7 TON meteor that exploded over Ohio released the power of 250 tons of TNT! The meteor was ~6 feet in diameter & exploded into a brilliant fragmentation 30 miles above Medina county. NASA believes that "meteorites" or fragments & pieces of this meteor may be found!

This satellite imagery from yesterday is simply incredible. An enormous dust storm sweeping across the unforgiving, West Texas desert like a tsunami of sand.

🦔 Researchers at Aikido Security found 151 malicious packages uploaded to GitHub between March 3 and March 9. The packages use Unicode characters that are invisible to humans but execute as code when run. Manual code reviews and static analysis tools see only whitespace or blank lines. The surrounding code looks legitimate, with realistic documentation tweaks, version bumps, and bug fixes. Researchers suspect the attackers are using LLMs to generate convincing packages at scale. Similar packages have been found on NPM and the VS Code marketplace. My Take Supply chain attacks on code repositories aren't new, but this technique is nasty. The malicious payload is encoded in Unicode characters that don't render in any editor, terminal, or review interface. You can stare at the code all day and see nothing. A small decoder extracts the hidden bytes at runtime and passes them to eval(). Unless you're specifically looking for invisible Unicode ranges, you won't catch it. The researchers think AI is writing these packages because 151 bespoke code changes across different projects in a week isn't something a human team could do manually. If that's right, we're watching AI-generated attacks hit AI-assisted development workflows. The vibe coders pulling packages without reading them are the target, and there are a lot of them. The best defense is still carefully inspecting dependencies before adding them, but that's exactly the step people skip when they're moving fast. I don't really know how any of this gets better. The attackers are scaling faster than the defenses. Hedgie🤗 arstechnica.com/security/2026/…

You've heard of Palantir, what about Blueskeye AI? It’s a biometric-monitoring company and a likely contender for the 2027 vehicle monitoring mandate. Blueskeye AI specializes in: -Eye‑tracking -Facial expression analysis -Head‑position monitoring -Drowsiness & distraction detection -Behavioral pattern analysis using face + voice The law requires the technology but doesn’t say which company has to provide it. 🚩 This is the exact kind of “quiet infrastructure” that fuels surveillance creep: -No opt‑out -Private vendor -No public vote -Biometric data collection normalized as “safety” -Can be repurposed for control or behavioral scoring Their tech could sit in millions of cars, tracking drivers while the company itself stays invisible to the public.
