Firstly, I apologize for calling you a dolt. I responded quickly thought you were the OP. That said, in the context of this video and the OP comments about how he would have made his gun visible is essentially brandishing the weapon. Remaining exposed and escalating the conflict by adding a deadly weapon is an unnecessary risk. I support your right to do so, but I'm not a big fan of open carry either. If I am a bad guy and I want to do harm, I'm going to target the person who is visibly capable of doing harm back. This makes the open carry person the first target.
