i can admit when i was wrong. so there's good news and bad news: bad news: sniping modern pateks/rolexes on ebay is not a thing. it's an ~efficient market good news: passing unidetified manhattan estate liquidation lot images through a vision model to find mispricings appears to be a thing the core of the thesis has evolved to: find auction pools where the clearing price is structurally depressed for reasons unrelated to what the item is, and value it against the current bid you thought C-tier perp DEX RWA flow was soft? how about regional pickup-only estate liquidation listings that busted up old japanese paper divider that sat next to Gramps' writing corner? it's worth $12,000 to a collector, but the top bid is for $30, and the seller just wants it gone Maw Maw's favorite brooch listed for $120? it's tiffany and it's worth $25,000 but nobody knows these valuations except a few thousand people in the entire USA per niche category. and the odds that they are going to sift thourgh hundreds of thousands of random listings daily that are mislabeled (or, more commonly, unlabeled) to find all mispricings is ~0 so i (claude) built a tool to scrape nyc tri-state area estate liquidation sales, price listings, and surface the gems first pass does a claude haiku 4.5 valuation. 2nd pass (manual) is an opus 4.7 valuation for the high ticket items with low bids. on many thousands of listings per day manhattan is a particularly good sub-market for this (although probably more efficient than some) because of the concentration of wealth but any major metro will have some inefficiency / insane deals -- to expand on the thesis a bit edge comes primarily from the venue, not the query. we are trying to stack multiple qualifiers from the following list to determine likely 'soft' venues for listing discovery A. limited bidder pool - small venue, obscure platform, in-person, local-only B. wrong bidder pool - charity gala, corporate event, room full of non-specialists C. friction - pickup only, wire/cash only, old bad website D. non-monetary motivation - tax deduction > price, speed > price (estate, divorce, bankruptcy) E. information asymmetry - seller doesn't know what they have F. time-boxed release - court deadlines, closeouts, lapsed reservations scraping currently on estate liquidations in the tri-state area but i think there is probably softer flow out there. maybe charity auctions or court-ordered liquidations ---- good side project, will continue

thinking my next sniping side project will be pateks/aps ✅ good table selection, no institutions ❌ ebay, chrono24 probably ran through, likely need to go backwater, possibly f*cebook group dumpster diving ✅ low automation competition from competent operators, but reasonable comp data availability ❌ annoying physical logistics ✅ good roi per flip, target 2-10% per unit, pnl not necessarily primary goal but a material bonus ❌ high information asymmetry; superfake landmines, even from credentialed resellers ✅ get to wear cool watches ❌ might get stabbed in midtown ✅ scratches shiny object syndrome itch ❌ might get lumped in with the broccoli tops

Busy day today! Today ~16,000 people flew in my free-to-play flight game made with AI 💸 Revenue update for fly.pieter.com after 10 days: +💬 19x Blimps sold at various prices = $38,000/mo + ✈️ 12x F16's sold @ $29.99 = ~$360 += $38,360/mo In-game ads are now $5,000/mo, if you want one, get them here: buy.stripe.com/00g5lueHfbdifB… As I said b4, I will keep doubling the in-game ads price because I don't want the world to get too busy with ads and have to keep it exclusive!.Next $10K/mo then $20K/mo until we run out of people who want to buy them :D Today was busy mostly with installing all the sponsor ads in the game, I fixed: ✅ Playable now on low FPS ✅ Improved tank driving and turret aiming ✅ Improved rate of fire because it was slowing down when shooting ✅ Added proper refueling to 100% health if you land back at spawn point and make a full stop ✅ Installed lots of ads for all the sponsors (which was a lot of work because I didn't just wanna add blimps everywhere, I wanted some fun stuff for each sponsor) ✅ Added functioning radar on aircraft carrier (see vid) ✅ Added thank you to all sponsors on start (not load because it will never have load screens :D) screen Video games are definitely A LOT harder in many ways than regular apps, I have a new found respect for video game devs. The to-do list is about 10x to 100x as big as any SaaS app I've ever made! Also because it's so creative, the possibilities are just endless. For example @marckohlbrugge suggests "add a tank", I add a tank but then next I need to add a turret aiming system and next I get more ideas "let's add lots of vehicles" then "let's add walking mode". It's really fun but I get it better now how video games are infinity rabbit holes A lot of people ridicule my little game rn, and it's not great or perfect or anything yet I agree, but people play it and seem to have fun and I really do wanna make a cool flight game. I'm happy it makes some money already in its first month, which gives me more motivation to work on it! Next: [ ] 5-min or 10-min like rounds so scores reset [ ] interpolation for smooth planes (I know I know) [ ] I will try CannonJS real physics model library
@levelsio@levelsio

Now setting up everyone's blimps and ads If you bought one it'll be live today! I want to avoid filling it ONLY with blimps so I want some more creative ideas of objects for the advertisers

Today, for the first time in 30 years, R/GA is independent again. Unburdened by the traditional holding company model. Unleashed to achieve ambitious new goals and to explore the unlimited creative possibilities of what this new intelligence age will bring. Who we are isn't changing. We will always be a creative innovation company that is focused on making more valuable experiences for people. But how we do it, and the experiences we create, will change. Unstoppable since 1977. Un/held since March 1, 2025.

Hey everyone, I want to clear up some things. The Meteora team was not involved in the deploy, the market making, or determining the launch of $LIBRA. The $LIBRA team used Meteora, which is a permission-less platform. We never had any access to the tokens or to Milei. Many teams create Meteora pools via CLI/SDK/CPI and there are a lot of configuration options, so we do regularly help a lot of them with using our tech. We will share more as we learn more.

Instead of creating a #Bitcoin strategic reserve, the U.S. could save a lot of money by creating #USAcoin. Just like Bitcoin, the supply can be capped at 21 million, but with an upgraded blockchain to make USAcoin actually viable for use in payments. This way we can all get rich.

I’m at a London event billed as the ‘unveiling of the true legal identity of Bitcoin inventor Satoshi Nakamoto’. An odd set up to the press conference as the organiser asked me to pay £500 to attend and appear on stage to ask questions of the billionaire mystery man.
