Excited to share this new experiment by @erictli that helps you get fast usability feedback. We built a tool that let's you test designs in minutes without needing to scheduling sessions or recruit participants. Here's how it works: 👇 1. Upload your figma prototype and choose the screens you want to test. 2. An AI persona walks through it like a real user 3. You get a report with feedback and recommendations. This is something between a heuristic evaluation and a usability test. It's not a replacement for testing with users but it's a quick way to get a second pair of eyes and catch issues before doing more research. Comment below or DM me if you'd like to try it out!

how to build a bootstrapped startup without funding: 1. pick a problem you personally have. if you don't use your own product daily, quit now 2. skip the pitch deck. open your code editor. ship something ugly in a weekend 3. charge money from day 1. free users give you nothing but support tickets 4. use boring tech. PHP, SQLite, vanilla JS. frameworks are a trap that mass waste your time 5. host on cheap VPS ($5-20/mo). not AWS. you don't need kubernetes for 1,000 users 6. do customer support yourself. it's the fastest product feedback loop that exists 7. automate everything you do more than twice. cron jobs > employees. 8. grow on Twitter/X by building in public. your journey IS the marketing 9. keep your burn rate near zero so you never need to raise. ramen profitable > series A 10. say no to investors, cofounders, and "advisors" who want equity for intros i've been doing this for 10+ years now. no employees, no funding, no board meetings the entire VC game is designed to make you think you need permission to start you don't

Now that a lot of the things that i liked about coding have been automated I feel like we are now drowning with the boring parts of code reviews and testing that the actual feature works. We do use code reviewing tools but you still have to approve it and for that still have to read it and you definitely still need to test it manually. We are working on a few things here hopefully we’ll share soon.

@levelsio do you fill it's context window with the logs or how does it know when an error happened?

💬 Having each of your sites/apps as a chat is such a logical idea once you do it It can message you if there's an error (I had this for years already, every server, PHP or JS error or unexpected problem ends up in the chat so I can fix it fast) But now being able to message it back and reply to those errors "ok fix it" and it ending up in Claude Code that immediately fixes it is makes it two-way Or just messaging it to build new features while you're going throughout the day (having coffee, lunch, going to the gym etc) It means I will finally be able to do my work on my iPhone from anywhere in the world Which @pmarca predicted 12 years ago would happen

I'm Boris and I created Claude Code. I wanted to quickly share a few tips for using Claude Code, sourced directly from the Claude Code team. The way the team uses Claude is different than how I use it. Remember: there is no one right way to use Claude Code -- everyones' setup is different. You should experiment to see what works for you!

How to become expert at thing: 1 iteratively take on concrete projects and accomplish them depth wise, learning “on demand” (ie don’t learn bottom up breadth wise) 2 teach/summarize everything you learn in your own words 3 only compare yourself to younger you, never to others

Acabamos de sufrir un intento de fraude telefónico, haciéndose pasar por el banco. El detalle es que te mandan SMS y llaman desde un número que es el mismo que te aparece en la tarjeta como el número del banco para llamar en caso de aclaraciones etc. Aguas ahí, no vayan a caer:

@gabrielguerrac Hace un par de meses hablaron advirtiendo que si no les daba un teléfono de contacto de mi mamá perdería su pensión, incluso me dijieron que ya la habían localizado y que estaban hablando con ella, cosa que era mentira

@gabrielguerrac Están tremendos. A mi me llegó un mensaje de intento de cobro y un teléfono para llamar. Te contesta una grabación que puedes jurar que es Banamex, con opciones y todo. Lo que te hace sospechar es que todo es demasiado fácil.

Starting next week, I'll be running a GPU programming study group, working through the PMPP book and Leetgpu problems. It's intended for CS Primer members but if you're keen to join us just for this group, and think you'd be a good addition, LMK
