Seven years, four failed products, and one co-founder who never quit on me Hi, I am Andy, I have built all kinds of products - Launchpads - Social media platforms - Web3 academy for easy hiring And this is the first time I'm telling the full story I am a dropout. I didn't have a degree or a network. I just knew I wanted to build things and figured the only way to start was to learn how they worked So I got a night job stocking shelves at a grocery store and spent every break learning frontend development from free tutorials Within a few months, I co-founded my first crypto product It lasted about a year before I got burned on an equity deal. I walked away with no money and a mass of skills I didn't know what to do with yet I joined a legal tech startup in Australia. That company has since completed a Series A. I was there for about two years, and it not only changed how I approach building products, but also what kind of products I actually want to build Then in 2021, I saw what was happening in decentralized finance and knew I wanted back in. But I wanted to earn it, not just apply and hope for the best. That’s when I found Synthetix’s public GitHub, noticed real problems they needed fixed but didn’t have time for. So, I wrote the solutions and submitted a cold pull request with just the code and a message explaining what I'd done They liked it and brought me on What followed were the best two years of my career. I worked alongside world-class engineers during what many consider the golden era of crypto. For the first time, I was getting to know why certain products win, and others don't. That team made me a better builder After 2 years at Synthetix, Kevin and I decided to go build our own thing. We'd been friends for over 14 years at that point, and we felt ready. We thought we knew how to win We were wrong, wrong about a lot of things We self-funded everything. Every time we tried to raise, the market made it feel impossible. We kept telling ourselves it was a bad time to launch, a bad time to make the big call We were focused on building n+1 instead of 0-to-1. Adding feature after feature, convinced that 0if we just built enough, we'd eventually hit product-market fit, and the market kept shifting while we kept trying to catch up After a long stretch of that, and a lot of money burned, we wrapped it all up in mid-2025. Shutting it down hit harder than I expected But once we were honest with ourselves, the answer was obvious. We still loved building. That part never went away. So we went back to our roots Kevin and I started Liquid Ledger. It's a global venture studio where we help people build their dream projects. We design and develop apps and products for clients worldwide while continuing to experiment on our own It's the model that finally makes sense for who we are This account is my reset. I'll be sharing everything going forward. The products we're building, the AI tools and workflows, real opinions on what's working versus what's just hype, and the lessons from seven years of building If you're in the middle of building something, follow along

Movement open Claw hackathon wrapped up with two winners of a Mac Mini. More on theirs and other projects soon but the proof is here you can go from 0 to MVP with the Move Plugin the first Agent skill system built for the Move Ecosystem.

Wrapping up one chapter and opening the next! For 7+ years, I've worked with early-stage crypto founders on one question: why aren't the right people building on and using your product yet? Sometimes it's community building. Sometimes it's onboarding. Sometimes, no one is connecting the team to the right ecosystem partners. Often, it's all three, and no one owns the full picture. I've been in Ethereum since 2019. Not as a spectator, but as someone who showed up, facilitated important discussions, curated content, built groups, mentored at hackathons, organized dev meetups from scratch, did unique brand activations, and built my way into the ecosystem by doing the work nobody had a title for yet. That's still the work I love most. Here are the highlights of my career, a tiny snapshot of my accomplishments: ↳ I grew the NFT Standards Working Group from zero to 200+ developers, ran the calls, coordinated the EIPs, and made a messy technical process feel like a community worth showing up for ↳ I've designed and executed end-to-end conference activations at ETHDenver, Devcon, and EthCC—from branding and swag to coordinating 70+ person community mobs and a four-day creative event series. ↳ I've onboarded 150 interns across departments, built documentation, and created a culture that keeps people engaged. ↳ I've judged and mentored at ETHGlobal, spoken at Devcon, Avalanche Summit, EthCC, and DappCon. I know the ecosystem, and the ecosystem knows me. What I bring to early-stage teams: → Infra & Partnerships - I know who to call, how to position you, and how to turn ecosystem relationships into actual integrations → Developer Experience - I audit your docs, design your workshops, and make developers want to build on your product. → Community & Culture - I build the internal glue and the external energy that makes your community feel alive → Creative Strategy - I translate what you built into a story people understand, remember, and that stands out. I'm looking for a role that probably doesn't have a tidy title yet. In the past, my title was something like “DevRel,” but in the future, it could be Chief of Staff, Head of Culture, Creative Strategist, Special Projects, or DevRel Lead. Someone at the intersection of product, people, technology, and the parts that make a company actually work. If you're a founder building something real in tech (not just crypto) and you feel the gap between your vision and the people who should love it, I'd love to talk! DMs open. 🪐

introducing: web3-godmode-configs. there are so many agents, skills, and different projects for general coding and everything in between. i wanted a source of truth, accurate, and based config system for crypto mfers. i love @every's compound-engineering plugin built by the team and @danshipper, and i use it everyday. but there is no crypto configs that utilize compound engineering along with specialized skills for crypto. so i built one. - compound-engineering integration - 16 skills: for eg, web3-* foundry, @privy_io , @monad , @megaeth - 3 agents - 6 diff rules on solidity/rust/forge etc - 3 commands like: audit, pre-deploy check etc. - 3 hooks - has top 50 EIP and solana's SIMD lookups and can get context for any other ones on demand. end of the day, it is not LLM in itself, just a bunch of .md files. you can think of it as retarded too maybe, but it improves your crypto work and claude context SIGNIFICANTLY. link in the next tweet.

Good opportunity to share a personal update. After almost 5 and a half years, I've resigned from my role @ethereumfndn. Spent most of my time at @EFDevcon and more recently @PrivacyEthereum. Super grateful for the opportunity and all the people who've been part of my journey! No plans yet. I'll take some time to reflect and build a couple of personal projects that have been on my mind. I'll be around and continue to serve Ethereum ✌️
