@cremieuxrecueil Yes you’re right. And it’s not Covid either, which affected life in Sweden less than elsewhere.
Imo it’s a shift in the Swedish approach to crime towards greater realism, mirroring similar pivots in other domains.

Global M2 is expanding. Historically, that’s bullish for $BTC. But is the correlation starting to decouple?

Global M2 (money supply) is expanding, and when central banks increase the money supply, it often filters into $BTC with a +- 2–3 month lag. This means the #Bitcoin price has a high correlation with global M2 (recent years). The relationship isn’t perfect, but it provides directional insight. i.e. ignore short term noise, this setup is bullish for $BTC. 🚀

To offset the demographic decline – at least until productivity starts to pick up again (likely around 2030 but maybe sooner) – the only answer is more debt.
That’s how the system survives. It’s the only way to keep the whole thing from unraveling…
When both the public and private sectors are running debt levels around 120% of GDP, you’re staring down the barrel of a GDP doom loop – unless you stimulate growth or monetize the whole thing.
There’s simply not enough GDP growth to sustainably service the interest payments on all that debt…

We’ve got aging demographics, falling birth rates, and now the rise of automation.
Humans are already being replaced by AI and robots at a staggering pace, and that shift is only just beginning. This is deflationary.
It also reinforces the need for ongoing stimulus to keep the system afloat.
Fewer workers. More tech. Same debts…

#SUI just got hacked and it’s bad.
SUI’s biggest DEX, #Cetus, was hit by an exploit.
Someone managed to steal around $60 million and is now moving it through Tornado Cash.
There’s still over $200 million in SUI stuck in the attacker’s wallet.
Cetus is saying it was just a bug, not a hack.
But let’s be real users lost money, pools are empty, and someone had full access.
Call it what you want, it’s a hack.
Now the SUI team is stuck.
They can either:
- Pay the hacker to return the funds
- Try to fork the chain (probably won’t work)
- Or just stay quiet and hope it fades
The attacker also locked up 10.7M SUI in staking to block emergency shutdowns.
And since SUI’s bridges have limits, most of the stolen funds can’t even leave the chain right now.
Meanwhile:
- SUI tokens are crashing
- TVL is dropping fast
- The whole ecosystem is freezing up
This is what happens when one protocol controls too much.
SUI broke in one spot, and the whole thing started falling apart.
Other chains like Solana and EVM are doing fine because they’re more spread out.
Lesson: decentralization matters. Big time.

People are yet to understand that we have a macro hedge fund manager running the Treasury, not an ex-Central Banker.
He deeply understands liquidity impacts and how to drive financial conditions to drive liquidity and how that in turn drives the economy and markets.
His entire strategy is to lower the three legs of Financial Conditions - dollar, rates and oil to goose the business cycle (ISM)
Our GMI Financial Conditions Index is screaming higher (conditions loosening) as is Global M2 and even more importantly GMI Global Total Liquidity.
The effects should kick-in in the next week or two and the recovery in asset prices and economic data should be sharp in the coming weeks and should be persistent.
I'll do a full video on this for all on Monday. Can't stress how important this all is vs Tarrifs! "narratives"
