Habt ihr mal was von einem Klimageld gehört? Ich bislang nicht. Nen Freund hat mir heute Mittag erzählt, dass die Regierung diskutiert jetzt eine Direktzahlung an alle Autohalter um die Spritpreise abzufedern. Ein sogenanntes Benzingeld. Möglich machen soll das der Auszahlungsmechanismus den die Ampel 2025 eingerichtet hat – für ein Klimageld das nie ausgezahlt wurde. Die Einnahmen aus der CO2-Steuer hat der Staat einfach mal behalten. Und jetzt wird es richtig absurd: Nur 18 Prozent der Bürger haben ihre IBAN beim Bundeszentralamt hinterlegt. Und ohne die kann der Staat gar nichts auszahlen. Die meisten Leute wissen nicht mal dass es diese Möglichkeit gibt (inkl. mir). Also hat man ein System gebaut das kaum jemand nutzt, ein Klimageld versprochen das nie kam, und will jetzt darüber ein Benzingeld auszahlen das die meisten gar nicht empfangen können.

Strom, das Blut der modernen Gesellschaft. Keine Ressource ist vitaler für Bürger und Wirtschaft, weshalb die Energiepolitik der letzten Jahrzehnte auch so schmerzt. Ave Europa steht für eine Rückkehr zu einer vernünftigen und zukunftsgerichteten Energiepolitik, einer, welche geringe und vor allem stabile Strompreise garantiert. Und das beginnt mit dem Wiedereinstieg in die Atomkraft. Der Verlust der nuklearbasierten Grundlast wurde beinahe ausschließlich durch Gaskraftwerke ersetzt, die derzeit teuerste Energiequelle in Deutschland. Die Strompreise, welche derzeit die dritthöchsten in ganz Europa sind, sind also ein direktes Resultat des Atomausstiegs. Es ist uns bewusst, dass aufgrund des fortgeschrittenen Rückbaus der AKWs ein direkter Wiedereinstieg unmöglich ist. Deshalb muss unverzüglich der Bau von neuen modernen Atomkraftwerken begonnen werden. Ebenso fordern wir die Gründung eines gesamt-europäischen Energierates. Dieser Rat soll nationale Energiepläne koordinieren und nationale Entscheidungen überwachen, die die Energiesicherheit der gesamten Union gefährden könnten. So etwas wie der unilaterale Atomausstieg in Deutschland darf sich nie wiederholen. Zu guter Letzt bieten wir einen Realismus im Umgang mit erneuerbaren Energien. Wind, Photovoltaik und Biomasse haben eine Rolle in unseren Energienetzen, doch aufgrund ihrer Volatilität sind sie nicht in der Lage, alleine die Großindustrie zu versorgen. Die Wirtschaft kann nicht nur funktionieren, wenn der Wind weht und die Sonne scheint, und eine stabile Grundlast ist dabei vonnöten. Nur dadurch wird es möglich sein, die Deindustrialisierung zu stoppen und die deutsche Energiewirtschaft wieder auf einen Pfad der Klarheit zu führen. Und die, die das verstehen, die unterstützen Ave Europa.
