Queens is the only place in the world where a Wendy’s with a drive thru is located 150 ft from a subway line that comes every few minutes 24/7.

This project will be great for Westbrook. It’ll lower property taxes and bring more people to the town’s small businesses. That being said, more green space and less asphalt would make this project 10x better. The buildings should probably be taller too. courant.com/2025/12/11/eno…

Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. We’re giving them more flexibility and opportunity by joining the Nurse License Compact. One license. Forty-three states. I remain committed to protecting our nurses in Connecticut. 🩺🏥

@berkie1 Really hoping Boston is able to axe them city-wide. Connecticut’s major cities like Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford need to do the same.

None of Boston’s neighborhoods could be built today if they had to meet modern minimum parking requirements.

Thank you @GovNedLamont for signing our first big housing bill in decades. Hoping to see a lot more momentum to continue making changes in the coming months. The people in our state deserve to have a plethora of housing options available to them.
Governor Ned Lamont@GovNedLamont

Proud to sign legislation that takes real steps to make housing more affordable and accessible across Connecticut. Everyone deserves a stable place to call home, and this is about building opportunities and keeping our state affordable for the people who live and work here. 🏠

TO ALL IN SOUTHWESTERN CONNECTICUT: There is an in-person meeting about expanding commuter rail service to Westerly TODAY at the Westerly Public Library Auditorium from 6 to 7:30pm! The project could add Shore Line East stops in Stonington and Mystic! thewesterlysun.com/daily-news-ale…

YES, let’s finally connect New England’s two disconnected commuter rail systems. Connecting the Shore Line East and the MBTA Commuter Rail would reduce I-95 traffic, have stable fares year-round, and give Amtrak some much needed competition.

Providence could have so much more life if its Downtown wasnt encircled by interstates and the buildings werent almost exclusively offices. The removal of 195 was a great start but more needs to be done to make this city less of a place to drive THROUGH and more a destination

It’s in Westerly at 6pm on Wednesday! There’s also a Zoom call at 6pm on Thursday for those that can’t make the Wednesday meeting. The link to the Zoom call is in dark text on the page below. westerlyrailadvocates.com/events

PLEASE EXTEND THE SHORE LINE EAST. Having it cover all coastal towns in CT and link up with the MBTA Commuter Rail would be a huge deal. The info for the meeting is linked below!

@desegregateCT Having more housing options is great for everyone, including people that prefer single-family homes because it’ll free up that supply!
