What is said here isn't isolated from the usage of native languages in Parliament. Parliament discussions aren't a privilege for those educated enough to understand Professional English and we shouldn't forget Parliament English isn't Beginner nor Intermediary Level. 📌

Namandje has leverage through political ties, relies on top law graduates, and close links to the judiciary, other than that his legal work is underwhelming , he can barely put together a grammatically correct sentence.

@PhysioMunche @ObserverNamibia No, what if it’s the state staff seeing them. Not the private practitioner coming to treat them in the state facility. Then they might aswell go private…

@ShinOvene Can we not call it “Fuelrot” fuel does not rot…the meaning of “fishrot” was the fish rots from the head (heads were stealing)! Hence fishrot! Maybe this one should be “Oilspill” or “fuel spill”…I don’t want us to sound uninformed 🤔

The ACC has provided more details about the Fuelrot case. In short, ACC says it involves around N$327 million (for now). This includes N$274 million and N$53 million. All of it involves Namcor paying Enercon and other companies.

@Onashali @Shipululo @toys_ndjebela Solution can be, they assign 1 bank, work out a special low interest (as businesses still need to money).there was a company in the early 2000s who used to only lent to gov workers only at a very low interest, they partnered with Bnk WHK.

@Shipululo @toys_ndjebela GIPF will need to keep partnering with licensed First Capital Namibia, to manage their lending operations. Because they don't have lending licenses, and NAMFISA rigorously enforces regulations. Reliance on licensed partners is the only way out.

We asked her just now. She confirmed that no Banks Involved Whatsoever!
Toys Ndjebela@toys_ndjebela

@Shipululo Let’s see how this evolves. But there are serious unanswered questions in Minister Shafudah’s statement. There’s truly nothing new. Copied and pasted from existing GIPF pronouncements.

@KaseraBM PhDs in education should theoretically drive innovation, but many PhD programs in Namibia and Africa emphasize academic research over practical solutions.

Namibia has 100s of PhD holders in education but has failed to develop a robust and globally competitive curriculum. It is sad that some of us are now paying for the Cambridge curriculum--because the NSSCO/A isn't globally competitive or unacceptable outside Africa.

Dr Desperate’s maiden speech was a (me) self promoting PR stunt with surface level context, as expected she failed to present her agenda for the country, her limited experience was on full display. She’s a conspicuous deception, an airbrushed illusion of false competence!

People of Namibia 🇳🇦 The MINISTER OF HEALTH just announced that it is her first time, in more than 30 years, that she is visiting the Zambezi Region. On the one hand, she is telling the truth. Good thing. There is a part of me that finds this problematic but I can’t put my fingers on it yet. Still digesting. What is clear though is that she needs help! Those close to her please assist! But Let’s discuss!
