Police say a pedestrian was walking "in the middle of the roadway" on Shadeland Avenue when she were struck by two cars that the drivers reportedly did not see her.

Let it be absolutely clear: threats against our schools, our students, and our educators will not be tolerated in Johnson County. Any individual who believes they can hide behind social media to intimidate or threaten schools will be identified, located, and held accountable. Actions that cause fear, especially among students who are simply trying to receive an education, are unacceptable and criminal. Getting some questions about the horrific crash in Jay County. This is technically out of what is know as our "viewing area" but I still like to update you on regional news and especially if viewers are asking me. Here is what I know and I am working to get more details. 4 people have now died from the crash that happened at State Road 67 and County Road 550 E Tuesday around 4 p.m. State Police tell us the driver of a semi, 30-year-old Bekzhan Beishekeev, was heading east on SR 67 near CR 550 E when he did not stop for another slowed semi tractor. The eastbound semi then swerved into the westbound lane and crashed head-on into a van. The 4 men killed are from Bryant, IN. They are: 50-year-old Henry Eicher 25-year-old Menno Eicher 19-year-old Paul Eicher 23-year-old Simon Girod I spoke to the Jay County Sheriff who told me ISP are investigating but added this was personally one of the worst crashes he has ever seen. The driver of the van is also in serious condition. He was hired by the Amish work crew who were all killed in the crash.
