Tamara, you've got the job description backwards. A Prime Minister is Canada's chief executive and is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the federal government. They don't "hand off governing" to advisors or consultants. Those people provide advice, not executive authority. If a CEO hires outside expertise, no one claims the consultant is suddenly running the company. The same applies here. That's how responsible leadership works. Education matters. Intellect a necessity. Not that I expect a convoy nut to get it.

Carney has not filled the Deputy PM position which was for this exact purpose. It's obvious that he has so little faith in any one of his MPs to be the Deputy PM, and for any Canadian, including his MPs, to be in this new position, that he went straight for an American. Carney ditched Canada for America. The fact that he hand picked someone so deeply imbedded in the Democrat party, should be setting off alarm bells. This move gives Clinton and her circle access to our highest office without safeguards. It also gives Trump and his administration plenty of reason to completely distrust us because that COO is a pipeline straight to Clinton. She'll use us to strike at Trump any way she can.
