What’s stopping people is the thrill of betting right on a stock and becoming instantly rich according to them. In reality, it’s just not understanding fundamentals about having the patience. Most people would rather feel smart picking stocks than actually build wealth quietly. The boring path wins every time, they just never stick around long enough to see it.

@d3ploycapital You’re assuming similar returns over the next 8 years and no downturns tha match your years of gains. Also youre not accounting for 8-11% compounding for the S&P.

How does the math work on that? If I already beat a decades S&P performance in 2 years. Means I have several years in margin. Meaning even if I perform poorly for a year, I’m still ahead of the majority and the benchmark.
8 more years to absolutely crush the benchmark yoy.
I’m not saying I will perform just as good as I have, I will perform better than the benchmark and that’s all I’m sure of.

@CarsonTalkMoney 2019 till present. Most my bitcoins are from covid black swan. Ethereum was literally $99 just few years ago. Bitcoin was as low as 5k. Crazy to think about
