Coinbase claims they aren't restricting accounts, this is a lie. Friend who's been active on the platform for 6 years forwarded me an email from @coinbase, it's legit and not a scam. They've restricted his account and now he needs to provide a ridiculous data request to gain access to his funds. Receipts attached. @brian_armstrong Why are you locking down all of these accounts?

Bitcoin’s price history shows that it spends only 1.93% of time above the orange line, and lingers in the red zone for about 26 days per cycle. While “this cycle is different” is a common assumption, the data shows that sticking to historical patterns can be smart. Understanding these cycles can improve your crypto strategy. #Bitcoin #CryptoCycle #InvestmentInsight

@VivekGRamaswamy @SenJoniErnst please focus on reducing how much citizens are taxed. that should resolve most of the bloat and waste and transparency on how much is taken and where it is spent. in fact, the people should decide what their money is spent on governments should be forced to use public ledgers

“Rules for thee, not for me.” Thousands of IRS employees & contractors literally *aren’t paying their own taxes.* @SenJoniErnst audited the IRS & found they owed nearly $50 million. The government-wide number of employee unpaid taxes is over $1.5 billion. The hypocrisy is insane.

@reibrian5 @blakearcuri @ZVR09 deductions and business expenses are two completely different things. 0 deductions does not conclude profit = revenue - expenses deal with business p&l - deductions deal with tax in OP's scenario, the business would pay 15% tax based on their profit

Replace IRS with flat tax. Everyone pays the same rate above 50k. Your first 50k is not taxed, over 50k is taxed at 15%. Zero deductions, zero loopholes. Tax form is 4 lines:

@benjamincowen @benjamincowen possible btc.d goes to 70/71 and the entire chart is a massive range (which is its long term fate imo). last cycle it tapped 70/71 twice - once at the 2109 highs and again at the 2021 highs.

Question: My target for this cycle was to hit enough to buy a home for our family outright (we’ve rented all our lives). I’m about to hit that target (after taxes). We definitely aren’t at the top yet. Do you cut and run (you’ve hit the target) Or raise the targets? Discuss

@MrVandelayArt @degenpimple @CredibleCrypto my last sentence referred to the impulse of a higher degree - cred is saying that has not started yet, because this smaller move itself does not appear impulsive. effectively, we are still chopping.

Morning folks, no change to the ideas shared earlier. We are now almost at the line in the sand for the first bearish scenario to play out- that is the "triple tap" top that I discussed in my last Youtube vid. If we clear the highs to our left, then we still most likely reject slightly higher, under 70k. As I've said many, many, times simply moving "up" does not make a move impulsive and the current move does not look impulsive at all imo. Meanwhile, OI has hit the highest levels it's been at since August when we were at 63k before we plunged to 49k...

@MrVandelayArt @degenpimple @CredibleCrypto impulsive waves are strong price movements that occur in the direction of the prevailing trend. the opposite are corrective waves which move against the prevailing trend. macro trend is up, these moves - in his opinion - are corrective. next impulse has not begun w/ this move up.

@degenpimple @CredibleCrypto he is saying the previous moves were also not impulsive. and this one is also not impulsive? THe previous 2 attempts took their time, and this one is quite quick and both are NOT impulsive?

@CredibleCrypto was 18-22 shorter or just a low multiple peak to peak? topped Q4 21. previous tops were Q4 17 & Q4 13. 4 years between each. my evolved thesis is the 4 year cycle is still intact but it's taking 2 cycles to complete a single market structure, ie 5 waves up from the 2018 lows.

What makes more sense? The 2018-2022 "cycle" being the FIRST cycle to take a shorter amount of time to reach its peak vs the prior 3? Or, the 2018 cycle still ongoing, taking a longer time to reach its peak just like the cycle before it, and the cycle before that? Was this time different? Or is it exactly the same as the prior three cycles- ie longer time to completion/peak? I've made the argument here for an opposing viewpoint to what's stated below. I've made the argument that this time is NOT different, and we are currently in the longest bull cycle we have seen on Bitcoin since inception. Why does it matter? Because if I'm right, then those thinking that we still have plenty of time for this bull cycle to play out will be caught extremely off guard when we come to an "early" top later this year. If interested, you can dive into my complete thesis here: x.com/CredibleCrypto…

@SamanthaLaDuc were in the SOV stage of maturation. in order for a monetary good to be used at scale as a MOE it must first have agreed upon value at scale. once society agrees on its value they will begin transacting in it - most importantly people will begin accepting it. trust not yet earned

Serious question: Why is Bitcoin “squirreled away & doesn't trade”? A CURRENCY is by definition a means of exchange, and that is in active circulation. A COMMODITY is by definition a raw material that can be bought and sold, and that is in active circulation. An ASSET is by definition a useful or valuable thing, that can be bought and sold, with circulation dependent on whether it is liquid or illiquid. And all of the above can be either popular or rare, in a state of supply-demand balance, but the quantity/quality of TRANSACTIONS determines its relative value. Bitcoin is unique. Since Bitcoin is most certainly not a currency nor commodity nor asset enabling TRANSACTIONS, it is therefore an illiquid asset that has no utility or value beyond speculation that it will be a liquid asset someday in the future, or a plaything for those who manipulate the emotions of those who believe it will be. So what is needing to happen exactly for Bitcoin to have real intrinsic value? To make it useful. To conduct transactions with it. Tell me! I’m really curious! But until then, why hoard bitcoin if the premium that is baked into its price reflects this future utopian world of a utility product in circulation as means of exchange to serve as replacement to currently-deemed inferior currencies and commodities? Another words: given the scarcity of actual value now, why hoard a future depreciating, illiquid asset that serves no purpose other than speculation on price appreciation from extrinsically assigned value? Trading it (and it’s highly levered proxies) makes a lot of sense to me - in both directions ! ! Even holding it until just before the mania ends, I can understand! [We choose mania over boredom every time, after all.] But squirreling bitcoin away in hopes it will be there when you need it - and hasn’t gone missing or turned rotten - I don’t get.

@BFairclough23 @Dr_Gingerballs @LynAldenContact Yes #NotYourKeysNotYourCoins It matters that, unlike other commodities (incl gold), there's no clearinghouse for #bitcoin, which can paper over "temporary" insolvency--nor will there ever be, most likely, bc the vast majority of #BTC is already squirreled away & doesn't trade

All of you #Bitcoin HODLers making fun of my posts should be selling your Bitcoin instead. You can always buy it back much cheaper if you really want to. This sucker's rally is a gift. Take advantage of the opportunity while you can. If you don't you'll be kicking yourself later.
