Prioritize keywords by pain point. Instead of ordering by volume and KD, think about whether the search intent aligns with your business goals. E.g.: Is the search intent product-driven? You've got yourself a perfect keyword that will bring readers closer to your product.

@BBCNews Yes the work they do is incredibly valuable to society. Maybe let’s pay them (and all the other undervalued workers what they are worth).

SEO folks getting excited about using ChatGPT to generate content pages cheaply / at scale are missing the point. The bigger paradigm shift here is that content no longer needs to be written/published *in advance*. We're becoming unshackled from having to predict content demand.

@thetafferboy I would argue it’s relatively easy to see if a domain changes ownership and google could feed that factor into an ML model, so buying aged domains COULD be discounted or at accounted for in rankings. Maybe.

I don't think domain age is important. I do think things like "how long have you had those links" is relevant to ranking and possibly inextricable from "domain age" (and maybe is a bundled concept).

@dancave @josh_angell Then your choices are essentially to commit to burning money, moving at 20% of the velocity of competitors, starting from a multi-year disadvantage, or to get a new CTO 😉
