@British_Airways disgusting service today - my parents flight back from Tenerife to Gatwick cancelled ON THE DAY ! Offered an indirect flight via Madrid back tomorrow to Heathrow. How are my parents (in their late 70s) meant to cope with getting across London to get home ? 🤬🤬🤬

@SimonCalder Sadly not true. My parents stuck in Tenerife today as BA cancelled flight back to Gatwick just as they were about to get taxi to the airport ! Offered them indirect flight back via Madrid tomorrow, landing at Heathrow 😡 Not good enough is it ?! 😡😡

Flight update: British Airways says there are no on-the-day cancellations (Sunday). Passengers booked on the 84 affected flights were told a week or two ago so they could sort out alternatives. easyJet cancellations look a lot closer in, typically two days independent.co.uk/travel/news-an…
