@ImBigPharma @joshmcgoo 🙋‍♂️ 15 years ago.. my father was one of the very unlucky that had Amiodarone lung toxicity. By the time they figured it out, it was too late. Tried to clear it with Rifampin but his lungs were shot… ARDS. Never made it home.

What's your favorite antiarrhythmic and what is it NOT amiodarone?

@Magnum702 Singapore is supposed to be a phenomenal city, I have several work colleagues that swear by it and would go back in a minute if it wasn’t halfway around the world from us!

I have a ticket with JAL I was going to use to go to the US in May but I can’t go so now I have to use the $850 on a trip from Tokyo or I lose it. I looked at Hiroshima & Hokkaido but tix are cheap and I’d eat half the ticket. Bangkok but times aren’t ideal. Where should I go?

If the idea is to put more of the cost burden for the service on the visitors and not NJ taxpayers going to the games: - Make this “special series” round trip ticket the $100 - Pass a narrowly-tailored law for 2026 that gives a $87.10 refundable tax credit to NJ residents that file a NJ-1040 and can show a receipt for this special ticket. You’ve eliminated the burden on NJ taxpayers for this train issue entirely.

@AndrewHarts Is Armitron no longer a sponsor? They may be the oldest sponsor I can remember, going back decades! They had that clock, and the digital clock on the scoreboard showed "Armitron Time" so I'm wondering if they're both gone this season.

Two noticeable things at the stadium from yesterday: - The auxiliary clock is now a Benjamin Moore ad. Always liked that clock, one of the last old school things after the auxiliary scoreboards got replaced. - Hate that the Opening Day logo is split with Audi. Looks tacky.

@brianspeaksnow @grudz2 It’s exactly this. This is the answer. Opening Day is separately ticketed. Usually they have an off day after first home game so opening day ticket holders can be rescheduled to next day. This is a night game so if yesterday was a rain out, “opening day” would be Game 1 today.

@grudz2 I was talking about this with a friend and my only guess is they kept the afternoon available just in case Friday's home opener was a rain out

I'm perplexed as to why today's game is a 7:05PM start rather than a 1:05PM start. Yanks usually play their Saturday home games at 1, unless national TV is involved. Especially in April, when nights are very cold. And the night game tonight conflicts with the NCAA Final Four.

What a disaster by @YESNetwork on the opening day introductions. Did they go so cheap as to fire the audio engineer? Unprofessional and embarrassing. This is what happens when you lose focus on your product (cc: Gotham Sports App)...

Wish they would, but from what I understand there are agreements between the State (which still owns this arena) and the operators of the Prudential Center to not operate as a competing venue. That Prudential wouldn’t be as financially viable if both venues held concert nights… and there are State financial incentives and potentially tax incentives tied to that. Something deep in the weeds of those ageeements, but it’s not possible.

We were an original vendor for Claim Junper and actually made the products locally in NLV. I concur about the portion sizes and food quality declining after they got bought out and changed out many of the quality suppliers to cut costs. But for me the real nail in their coffin was inexplicably getting rid of the best restaurant dessert known to man… the chocolate chip calzone! We’d stand in the 2 hour line essentially just for that chocolatey marshmallowy goodness!

I opened the Claim Jumper on Ft Apache & loved my time there, but their quality went down as did their portion sizes. They were known for huge portions at a reasonable price but they let private equity take over and this is the end result and will be for the foreseeable future.

I actually think Torts will be fine with the Vegas media. It’s a lot of years since his Larry Brooks run-ins and I think working on the media side for the past few seasons at ESPN helps. Also the way he and Brooks patched things up over the years, and that great tribute he gave when Larry passed away, shows a lot of (for lack of a better term) maturity.

Despite what a lot of people says Torts is a great coach. He knows what players he can push on a bit. What players weren't giving 100%. Young players will learn the harder things first. He's not great with the media. They'll wear on him and turn against him but frankly he'll take the punch to defend his players.
