@JonathanTurley Rand's obsession with Fauci is professional jealousy. Fauci is an accomplished doctor and public health official. Rand was such an incompetent ophthalmologist that when he couldn't pass the board exams he created his own organization to award him a bogus board certification.

Chairman Paul is saying that he will proceed to a contempt vote. He is correct that this would have to be resolved by the courts. He was very clever in his final questions in crafting them as confined to the period of Fauci's pardon. That will likely give his lawyer angina...

@SilverDudeMan @piersmorgan @grok Why don’t you ask your AI brain about hospital reimbursement rates for non insured and Medicare patients for COVID vs Flu during that time period. I’m sure that had nothing to do with how hospitals recorded the numbers. Again 1,675 cases from 9 million…

Fauci was caring for AIDS patients when others wouldn’t even touch them. He fought harmful misinformation. He warned about the risk of a pandemic for years. You’re never going to convince me he’s a terrible person.

@SilverDudeMan @piersmorgan From a normal of 9-45 million down to 1,675 nationwide and this self proclaimed fact checker wants to claims masks and quarantine did that. He’s also from California so unaware many states were not locked down and masks weren’t widely used.

@davbrks1 @piersmorgan Could it be flu cases were down because of extra precautions people were taking? social distancing, masks, sanitizer?

@piersmorgan Some of us knew that at the time. Meanwhile you were a massive fanboy and telling everyone to follow him and ignore the Trump admin. We now know what Trump said was true…they attempted to delay the vaccine to avoid Trump getting a boost in the election. This was your hero.

No, it’s pointing out the actual issue. We actually do view the unborn as people, you don’t. None of your arguments are convincing because they’re all premised on the unborn being [nothing]. That nothing is a moral and legal undefined object in your world. Something whose value increases or decreases infinitely depending on the emotions of the woman carrying it. It’s a faux-rationalist argument that uses the same deconstructionist absurdism that could be used to dehumanize any person.
Diane Yap@RealDianeYap

@memeticsisyphus Cute but this is abuse of notation. No one is a citizen before birth. Abortion doesn’t count as “killing each other” either. You’re using emotional language, hoping that stands in for an argument. And it probably does for the low enough IQ in your audience.

For all of you folks trying to explain to us the DSA is not Marxist/communist/maoist…
Insurrection Barbie@DefiyantlyFree

Here is who holds 13/27 seats within the DSA: 1. Red Star which explicitly calls itself Marxist-Leninist, seeks to “cohere a vanguard party,” rejects reform of capitalism in favor of its overthrow, and frames anti-imperialism in binary terms. That language they use in their literature sits inside the same broad tradition as Maoism. 2. Reform & Revolution draws on Lenin, the Bolshevik experience, and the need to “smash the capitalist state” and build a workers’ state. 3. Marxist Unity Group speaks of programmatic unity, political independence from capitalist parties, fighting the existing Constitution, and a long-term communist horizon. 4. Springs of Revolution emphasizes revolutionary rupture, mass organizing, and anti-imperialist discipline. All of these groups openly reject the idea that capitalism or the current U.S. constitutional order can be gradually democratized into socialism. That is in line with classical revolutionary Marxism, including the Chinese Communist Party under Mao. Many 20th-century Marxist-Leninist parties, including Mao’s, began with emancipatory rhetoric about workers’ power, democracy of a new type, and ending exploitation. Once they held state power under conditions of civil war, isolation, or extreme scarcity, the actual record was one-party dictatorship, suppression of independent unions and parties, and mass violence justified as necessary to defend the revolution. Just understand where this is all heading.

@cwebbonline Your post is accurate, however the DSA platform is clear about their intent to drive government ownership of most major corporations. They wrote down a party platform. We should all believe them when they say what they want.

@TRobinsonNewEra It’s abundantly clear that in 2026, homosexuals are being vanished by both the ‘queers’ of the far left, and the Islamists of the far right. I miss the times when all we had to worry about were galumping Christians.

Known Islamist drives into a pride parade in Berlin killing at least one person. It's white mens fault. Because white men just want to randomly go around attacking and murdering people at a pride event. It happens that often apparently. Retarded take, by a retarded person.

How is a democracy if we’re unable to enforce the laws that our representatives passed?
Face The Nation@FaceTheNation

ICE has plans to arrest and deport Haitian migrants as Temporary Protected Status is set to end, including in large hubs like Springfield, OH, according to two agency sources and federal documents obtained by CBS News' @camiloreports. Rep. Mike Turner (R-OH), who voted in April to extend the migrants' immigration status – a measure that failed to advance in the Senate last week after clearing the House – said on July 12 that "Gov. Mike DeWine and myself, and others who have individuals in our community who are going to be affected, are certainly advocates for these individuals to be able to stay in our communities, who are working and contributing." “We certainly hope that they can stay and be able to contribute to our communities," he told @margbrennan.

@RachelKleinfeld Very slick how you somehow blend charities supported freely through individual donations and NGO’s supported by tax payer funding. Charities are great! Primarily Government funded charities shouldn’t exist.

That's what pluralistic democracy is about. There are 330 million Americans. We don't agree on many things. Where we agree, we are allowed to come together and form organizations to do the things we agree on. That should be free of government interference. 9/16
