Protip: protips were meant to be sarcastic, obvious and unhelpful. I hope this doesn't help anyone.

ChatGPT really needs to chill with the engagement bait Did they do all their training on infomercials? It turned me off so much that I completely churned from the product

@pitdesi @rabois wrong data. "funding by companies named 8sleep" clearly shows miami is bigger than sf.

I have bad news you already know. For the past 2 yrs I’ve been testing whether screens an hour before bed impact my sleep. They do. The effect is not small, it’s very noticeable, and even calming activity like baths or reading doesn’t make it go away. Screens are now banned in the hour before bed

Why I ride the indoor bike every day as a marathon runner: It builds aerobic fitness without the impact of more miles. It helps my legs recover from the running I’m already doing. Every ride is zone 1/zone 2. Easy spinning. Nothing fancy. The closest thing to free fitness that exists in this sport.

If AI is reducing the cost of building software so dramatically, why are all the saas companies raising prices?

@ddonat I generally work through making feature specs with chatgpt and then review with Claude in the context of the actual project. I appreciate that codex is far less sycophantic but it also feels slower and seems to make weird decisions in the fog of war.

trying out codex again today. so far it was really good at finding security related problems but when it came time to build an actual feature claude seems to have done a much better job.

Every male 40 and older should probably just be doing some fkn cardio.
TBPN@tbpn

"Every male 40 and older should probably be taking somewhere between 2.5 and 5 milligrams of tadalafil." - @hubermanlab Jordi: What do you think the best athletes in the world are doing this Olympics? Huberman: "People are taking vasodilators. You know, Viagra and tadalafil, which commonly goes by Cialis." "Tadalafil is a vasodilator. It lowers blood pressure, and people know of it as Cialis for erectile dysfunction. It was originally developed as a drug to improve prostate health." "The basic takeaway is that most every male 40 and older should probably be taking somewhere between 2.5 and 5 milligrams of tadalafil—not necessarily for erectile function, although it will augment that as well—but to lower blood pressure and to improve vasodilation for the brain and the prostate." "And I'm not saying this as a biohacker or a podcaster. Our head of male sexual health from Stanford, Mike Eisenberg, MD, PhD. He is best in class in terms of male sexual health endocrinology. That's his recommendation."
