Thanks to everyone you reached out to check on my health. It meant a lot. I'm not dead yet :) Recap, it was either a really bad virus or food poisoning which spiraled into some other medical complications. Down 10 pounds in a week but eating semi normal again.

@davepgames @terrasomno @NormENPC @IguKoskinen @GShaneMorris When you hold a significant advantage in a particular field, you have control over pricing and can adjust your selling price as you see fit. However, if your product is not unique in the market, let the market decide whether it is worth the price you set; competition will erode

This is astonishing. Butlerian Jihad stuff. Listen to the boos and jeers. I'm a millennial. My dad was in IT. I grew up through all the major milestones of the digital era. I've never seen a new technology pushed with this kind of arrogance, or inspire this kind of backlash.

Google CEO tries to tell University students to love AI. They tell him to BOO off. This is what most people think of the hated AI, we don't want it.

That’s why iPhones get cheaper every year? Also, nobody can afford RAM or GPUs or any hardware that relies on RAM or GPUs Or the energy to run anything that uses RAM or GPUs. Finally, once they get to the point of forced dependency the price of these tools will sky rocket. These companies are hemorrhaging money right now so the race is on to see if they succeed in pushing the tech and in doing so screw everybody over … or, they fail, crash the economy and in doing so, screw everybody over. Happy days!

The patent for Insulin can be licensed for $1. Yet US companies still charge $100 per shot. Ten times the cost of the same product in Europe.. So I think it’s pretty clear that any breakthroughs AI makes in manufacturing and production lines will unlikely be passed on to the consumer.

@NormENPC @IguKoskinen @GShaneMorris Producing teaching materials, analysing legal cases, reconfiguring patented medicines to create cheaper formulas. All kinds of uses which means we have to pay less. Finding efficiency gaps in manufacturing processes which helps with savings.

Here are the 7 core life lessons: No one is coming to save you: Being a functioning adult means taking full responsibility for your life, even when your circumstances aren't your fault. Boundaries define relationships: Strong boundaries build good relationships, while weak ones create unnecessary drama. Accept that some problems remain: Many of your core problems won't simply disappear; you just learn how to live a good life despite them. Your mind lies to you: Your brain catastrophizes and overanalyzes. You have to learn how to tell your intrusive thoughts to quiet down. Stop chasing approval: Stop trying to force people to like you. The right people won't require convincing. Let certain dreams die: Sometimes, the most mature and healthy thing you can do is let go of a dead-end dream. Keep your circle small: Only a few people truly matter in the long run. Hold on to them, treat them well, and be grateful.

Yesterday I was watching the beautiful sunrise in Tunisia. This morning I’m eating breakfast in Greggs and there’s a bloke sleeping in the corner. Magical.

@brewpounder To be fair, every time I launch my quest I seem to find myself falling through the air away from my pad and the city. Maybe it’s a new VR thing that all apps will have.

@GAMERTAGVR Regardless of software it will be interesting to see what impact the device has full stop. VR is going through a difficult time right now.

Imagine if Valve dropped a new game that was optimised for Steam machine, but also had a hybrid vr mode for Steam Frame at launch.

There you go. That’ll do it! Seriously though, the black and yellow markings without the disabled parking sign would likely work. That said, I put traffic lights in at junctions in my game to indicate what route players should take. And everybody was trying to shoot the lights. So F%€# knows!

@davepgames It actually works really well. I was using the Logitech G29. There were some rebinding I had to do, and some tweeks to get is 1:1 but it really adds to the immersion!

All racing games should support #VR and now Flatout 4: Total Insanity has joined the club! I jumped in to see everything it had to offer, and even used my wheel to play!
