I fully reverse-engineered Ramp's internal AI operating system. Their system — called Glass — is how they got 99% of their entire company using AI every single day. 350+ reusable workflows. Every tool connected at first login. Memory that refreshes every 24 hours. Automations running while everyone sleeps. I partnered with my engineering team and we broke down every component inside it. Then we rebuilt the whole thing for marketing agencies. 76 pages. Every system. Every layer. Every step. Steal it. Comment "OS" and I'll send it directly. Must be a following to receive auto DM
Eric Glyman@eglyman

99% of Ramp uses ai daily. but we noticed most people were stuck — not because the models weren't good enough, but because the setup was too painful and unintuitive for most. terminal configs, mcp servers, everyone figuring it out alone. so we built Glass. every employee gets a fully configured ai workspace on day one — integrations connected via sso, a marketplace of 350+ reusable skills built by colleagues, persistent memory, scheduled automations. when one person on a team figures out a better workflow, everyone on that team gets it and gets more productive. the companies that make every employee effective with ai will compound advantages their competitors can't match. most are waiting for vendors to solve this. we decided to own it.

-Better Sandboxing in the CLI -Sub-agent support -Something analogous to skills to allow for self selecting or directed impl instructions on specific tasks. The skills piece is important. Codex is so smart and good at following instructions that complex agents.md setups end up creating conflicting imperatives that generate bad results in complex codebases or multi repo/micro service environments.

Codex team is working on a few experimental projects that are starting to shape up and I’m excited to share more about soon. But I’m curious, what would you like to see ship or improved by the end of the year other than better models?

Time to accept AI will write 99% of code. At which point coding won't be the slow part – everything else will. That's why we're building Modem: an agent that handles PM triage work and sends product context straight to your IDE + coding AIs. Follow @modemdev for more!

Parenting is just vibe coding little humans. You instruct your kids in natural language like "Clean your room', and they return with a half-done job so you refine the prompt 15 more times. 'Put your clothes away', 'Don't hide stuff under your bed'….they eventually get to 75% and you just accept it

@tranhelen As more of accounts, payments, and subscription infra gets offloaded to 3rd parties for “faster” integrations with webhook callbacks.. none of this UX work is being done in-house for specific use cases

@fahdananta There was a lack of inter-bank personal transfer protocols available in the US and Cash app/Venmo/Zelle solved that core problem They did a great job in adding consumer value centric features In Canada that problem didn’t exist (re: Interac) - limiting opportunity

@joncrowley @Raptors It reminds me of when Bosh went to Miami. We had a few diamonds in the rough to polish with the young guns.. except I don’t have to convince myself that Sonny Weems was going to transform the franchise

1/ New technologies often arrive with flaws: toy-like, expensive, janky, lacking clear applications, etc. To predict how they’ll develop, it’s important to dig deeper. Here are a few common ways new technologies can be misunderstood 🧵👇
