Sandy Robertson (BBA ’53, MBA ’54, HLLD ’15), a valued member of my President’s Advisory Group passed away this week. I will miss him greatly and have his wife Nancy and family in my thoughts and prayers.

I am deeply saddened by the loss of my dear friend & mentor, Sandy Robertson. For over 20 years, Sandy stood by my side & served as an amazing Lead Director of the Salesforce Board of Directors. He was a great leader in our industry, founding companies like Robertson Stephens & Francisco Partners. Sandy had a hand in financing over 500 growth technology companies, including giants like Dell, AOL, & Sun. He was also a deeply dedicated philanthropist who inspired me to support UCSF. My heartfelt condolences to Laura, Brett, Nancy, and his entire family. May the One who brings Peace bring Peace to All. ❤️

Sandy Robertson was a visionary tech pioneer, an active citizen who worked for more inclusive economic and social conditions, and a very good man. I’ll always be grateful for his steadfast support, especially hosting my first San Francisco fundraiser in his home. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Got an email today from an elephant sanctuary about volunteering at their facility (which I think is a great way to help a good cause). It says "for the safety of the elephants, please submit proof of Covid-19 vaccination..." But we all know the shots don't prevent transmission.

@alextatem @hubermanlab Agreed. But how do you define supratherapeutic levels of T? I have not been able to find a solid consensus on the target range for a patient on TRT.

@hubermanlab Also - VERY fine line between TRT as just replacement vs enhancement. Incredibly easy to drive to ‘supratherapeutic’ levels. Not saying that’s bad or good, but testosterone even when from an MD at ‘replacement’ doses can convey a profound performance enhancement benefit.

Nomenclature based on facts: 1)Testosterone (T) & Estrogen both = “steroids” 2)TRT = T Replacement Therapy (for those below normal ref. range) 3)TAT = T Augmentation Therapy (boosting T above an already within ref. range level) 4) PEDs = relates to athletes/tested sports
