The conflict between Zelensky and Trump now overshadows the conflict between Zelensky and Putin Also, no one has dared to challenge Trump so far, not Europe, not Putin, not anyone else. Everyone diverted and waited out. But Zelensky decided to push back 1/

@Teamgrassroots_ games are treated as ultra competitive by parents which is why I believe giving a 15 year old any game without an adult just asking for trouble. I know that is a negative statement but I think that we should consider all parties that he did it alone is to my mind unfair.

@Teamgrassroots_ TBH as a basketball player coach &referee no junior should be refereeing alone. I would not allow it in the central league I ran. You should have qualified linesmen with them. For one thing you need proper feedback on how you've done it else progression is poor. Often these 1/

A summary of my son's first game refereeing a game this morning. For reference my son is 15, it was an U9 game and my son has no connection to either clubs. He's been called a "a blatant cheat" "blind" "stupid" "doesn't know what he's doing" In addition he's been spoken to in a manner I can only describe as aggressive and Intimidating for things like giving a throw, allowing a player to re take a foul throw, not giving a penalty when a child tripped on the ball and was not fouled. My son left the pitch today and said this to me in the car, I'm never doing that again, kids were great, adults were absolutely disgusting. No wonder we struggle for refs.

@MarkHewitt1978 @IanDunt I leave you with a thought. In a poll a plurality believed in Rwanda but also a plurality said it wouldn't work & a plurality wanted it if did break international law. It is the electoral equivalent of cakeism unfortunately as politicians that the vote they're after 🤷🏿‍♂️

@MarkHewitt1978 @IanDunt Will be immigration. We as an electorate will fall for it as the next easy solution & when it fails we'll do some sort of 'othering' we'll be more authoritarian & they cycle will continue until as a society we either grow up or are beaten into growing up by some form of 6/

@montie It’s really sad that Tim, now a Reform blowhard, resorts to this trivial, clearly ridiculous, narrative. He is so much better than this but now has to conform to the Farage propaganda.

Starmer. Definitely Starmer. Mainly because he has Reeves, Lammy and especially Miliband in his Cabinet. The damage has only just begun…

@NorfolkMuse @griffitha 80% of US startups fail🤷🏿‍♂️ I think it is an investor's appetite for risk as much as a level of subsidies.

@griffitha 80% of start-ups fail. Reason 1 is EU rules that put an upper limit of 70% on government funding compared with 108% SBIR funding in the US.

@richardhyland @sukhimukhi @CyclingInKK Actually my journey into central London from the East End has this problem with speeds along one road from 20-40mph. On many occasions not well marked. As a road user (I cycle, drive & use PT) consistency is important.

@richardhyland @sukhimukhi @CyclingInKK I'm in favour of average speed checks. Together with a simplified system of speed limits. As a driver it is rather confusing to have a road that with no discernable change goes from 30 to 20 & back again🤷🏿‍♂️

@wyllie_cameron @jonlis1 Why? She was terrible as a minister. People praised her for doing the obvious like stating the sky is blue and grass is green... is she an improvement on say Johnson well yes but my dead cat would do as good a job as Johnson. 🤷🏿‍♂️

@jonlis1 And terribly disappointing. I thought she would be better than this. The Prime Minister may come across as a little worthy and dull but at least he’s a grown up with an impressive professional past.

@Dannybroadbent1 @ChrisAntoniou6 @edmiliband No one is interested in facts. These people have picked a side and their side is always right and if the facts say otherwise it is fake news. Brexit was always going to hurt the motor vehicle industry. it was always going to be death by 1000 cuts 🤷🏿‍♂️

@redhistorian @glynispatricia I think the issue was about staying in power. For example O suspect if Gordon Brown had resigned over Iraq I suspect we would not have been ladened with the fallout or embroiled with Afghanistan. But a majority played the game until they see either a great opportunity or loss 🤷🏿‍♂️

@glynispatricia I don't think anyone envisaged appealing to Johnson's better nature. The issue is why other people in positions of power (Conservative MPs, ministers) weren't asking this question & acting on the answer. In that respect, like many others, Johnson was riding a wider cultural shift

@vickipulman78 @vivamjm I agree that simply put concensus between the parties that Brexit was a bad idea and rejoin is a good one is the only way that UK rejoins the EU. The problem is the consensus is that you need brexit supporting voters to win UK elections🤷🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️

@vivamjm Those who insist the Conservatives will be the ones to take us back into EU might be right after all. Starmer's pollster Deborah Mattenson said this week thier strategy was always about courting Brexit voters to win General election, so they've no room for manoeuvre on EU.
