None of this happened by accident. Strong growth figures show that this government has the right economic plan. And now, the IMF has upgraded the UK’s growth forecast. This growth is driven by an activist, interventionist government that believes in backing British business.

I think what the country needs more than anything is to spend years relitigating the decision to leave the EU. It'll really help restore faith in politics and finally put the issue to bed.

Whenever I see Emily Thornberry, I always think she should be doing an Alan Bennett Talking Heads monologue. "I see no.32 is out with her Waitrose bag again but we all know she shops at Lidl, and the whole street knows the butcher is giving her more then a bit of scrag end"

I still cannot read the details of the atrocities committed on Oct 7th. I get half way through the first sentence of one and that’s enough. It’s a visceral reaction. Sheer horror that anyone can even contemplate such things, let alone carry them out. The unutterable evil of those who not only did this but filmed them and filmed themselves revelling in them, is just that… Evil Demonic You may doubt the existence of God but that human beings can become so possessed by wickedness and cruelty must surely convince you of his antithesis. And that he/it is a power that takes over the being of someone who willingly places himself under its power. As for those who deny or justify such things here in the West, I can only say that their action is stain on the history of humanity, not least because of the perversion of their claiming the moral high ground in the face of such unbelievable evil.

It’s hard to believe we live in a world where western feminists think the terrorists who drilled nails into the private parts of Jewish mothers and gang raped underage girls until their pelvises broke are “freedom fighters.”

Proud mum boast but my 13yo son just ran an official 11.8 second 100m. He’s absolutely buzzing and it’s so wonderful to see normally stroppy teen actually excited about something.

@ThatFloWoman @London_W4 When I first lived in London in Gloucester Place back in early 80s used to go to a pub with booths right on the bar. Barley Mow I think it was on Dorset St W1.

@London_W4 I love those booths in pubs but they’re few & far between nowadays. So cosy, you could easily settle down for the night there.

Got a booth for me and my brothers today in one of my favourite London pubs. Love these booths. Incredibly quiet here today. It’s in the City of London in case you wondered, with this area being very quiet at weekends and very busy in the week. Many places here don’t even bother opening at the weekend.

It's genuinely funny that Labour's response to the collapse of its vote is to arrange a speech by the PM, when his inability to speak in a way that doesn't sound like an android attempting human is one of his main problems, and then to announce the return of Gordon Brown, who was booted out of No 10 because he was such an awful PM, and Harriet Harman, who thinks women can have a penis. It's almost as if we are governed by a bunch of clueless idiots.

@wallaceme @gettingworse666 But that doesn't mean the resulting state has a "right to exist". It means a collection of individuals have the right to seek self-determination by trying to establish a state. A concept (e.g. a state) does not have rights, not least because it doesn't actually exist in reality.
