As someone who has never even touched a Commodore 64, getting this today made me unreasonably happy

@CharlesHawn66 @Chat64_NL Confirmed at least the cartridge image doesn't work. But makes sense since chat64 doesn't support the C64U/Ultimate64 network interface

@Chat64_NL Do these work on Gideons board/new C64U. If so do you need a cartridge or just the cartridge image and load the cart image like any other cart image.

Only 3 #commodore #Chat64 cartridges left from this batch . New PCB’s are on their way to us. Seventeen went to a new owner in only 3 weeks! The community is growing fast! Chat64.nl

Looks like some lucky gamers have already got their Commodore 64 Ultimate... my ones have been shipped to the distribution centre, "yah! progress"... what's your status? I have ordered 2 Biege Commodore 64 Ultimate. 1 for me and 1 to give away on my X channel, probably will be January this rate. Keep your eyes open for the giveaway promo. #retrogaming

@Qualcomm @arduino Will the memory map be published for bare metal programming? Or do we have to look through bunch of Linux driver source code and piece it together like on the RPI?

@TheGingerBill The weird thing is that in my OOP school, I never heard of Bob Martin. The Bible we had was the Gang of Four.

@Jonathan_Blow @SebAaltonen If the kernel hands the process a submission and completion queue on startup, AFAIK the only syscall necessary is an analog to io_uring_enter.

@SebAaltonen For starters, every API is asynchronous command buffers with an optional slower/easier noob API on top. There are a lot of things that could tremendously simplify userspace as well.

Elon: makes car company (when everyone thinks electric cars will never work), rocket company (the rockets land themselves), Neuromancer brain chip company. Computer Nerds: Noooooo I can’t make an OS because drivers and adoption!!!!1 x.com/Jonathan_Blow/…
Jonathan Blow@Jonathan_Blow

The people who would historically be excited about a new operating system can't do that any more, because everyone is too helpless to even conceive of a new OS. So they have to get excited about a mildly different arrangement of bloatware from That OS From 35 Years Ago. But as long as you give it a Cool Name, everything is good.

After commenting out random things, it turns out specifying `type: "bytes"` in the ReadableStream underlying object was the problem. None of the things Cursor said even remotely hinted this was the issue.
Daniel Bokser@dbokser91

Tried out Cursor to have it help solve an Cross-Origin-Embedder-Policy error i've been getting on Safari when an iframe is trying to access a Service Worker URL. It was just a series of "try this" and "try that". None of it worked. Complete waste of time.
