A very special thanks to my friends up north for hosting me!!! Every year for the past 3-4 years I stay in the same house a couple blocks from Augusta National. I play golf, go to some Masters parties & attend the Masters. It’s one of my favorite weeks of the year & the guys in this house make it even better! I look forward to it every year- thank you! @TheMasters

How or why is a guy who’s obviously in so much physical pain, and thus, on pain killers, allowed to have a license or get behind a wheel?! One would think his team is paid to protect him. At this point, they must be getting paid not to say something. All of it is very sad.
Riggs@RiggsBarstool

Saw the body cam footage. I think Tiger’s a man in a lot of pain who (like many) struggles with managing that pain. He shouldn’t be driving. Take his license & keys. But like Augusta, like the Tour, like the PGA of America, I fully support Tiger as he seeks help & recovery.

@RiggsBarstool Your new opinion is too late, you did serious damage to your brand by trying to be cute & funny. It wasn’t!

I feel a lot of frustration towards Tiger Woods & the decisions he continues to make & I think he deserves to be punished for putting people in danger. I also feel a lot of empathy towards the man & hope he gets help in getting better through a low point.

Something that drew the Bona head coach search committee to MacDonald was his ability to retain players and build in this current era. University President Dr. Jeff Gingerich spoke on that in a release: “I have complete confidence that Mike can build upon the foundation that Mark built here. In this transient era of college athletics, to be able to keep a team together and scale the heights that Daemen did really speaks to his ability to create an environment that players want to be a part of. I don’t care what level you’re coaching at — you’re coaching against peer programs. To achieve what Mike has at Daemen is remarkable.”

@POTUSVaccaro Vinny - If you are referencing the conference that Canisius & Niagara play in, it’s the MAAC.

In 3 years from now Bonnie’s will be apart of the MAC Everything they stood for will be gone It will soon be the little brother to North Campus in Amherst It’s sad to see with such a great alumni that they hire such an awful head coach I apologize to all my friends

Here's the @espn story on St. Bonaventure hiring Mike MacDonald from Daemen University. The hire will save Bonaventure significant money in head coach salary, a sign of a new era as that money will be re-directed to NIL. espn.com/mens-college-b…

I guess I have to be the bad guy (again). I like Gary Woodland & I’m happy for him. BUT it’s not like he had to beat the 2 best players on his tour to win this. He beat Sam Stevens, Johnny Keefer, Paul Waring & the less good Hojgaard twin.

@RedRejection32 Heard an interesting interview with Tom Crean talking on how the GM/Coach must be aligned. The GM needs to be reporting to the coach not the AD if they want to be successful. Listening to this made me immediately think of the Bonnies.

How do you cap off a week where Tiger Woods gets another DUI? Gary Woodland is the story!!! I have only cried watching a couple golf tournaments, but this was the only time I cried for a non-major. What incredible perseverance- I held my breathe on every shot down the stretch. The world was cheering for you Gary! Congrats! @PGATOUR @GolfChannel @espn

The 'Pack plane is now in Greer, S.C., close to Greenville where Furman is. As of 4:30 pm, no offers had been made. Looks like Pack has hit three candidates today. But Tennessee coach Rick Barnes says they need to hire Justin Gainey. wral.com/sports/ncstate…

With opinions like this, will the Golf Twitter community finally just stop following him?? Sheer luck that Tiger didn’t KILL or MAIM someone. There are hundreds of better Golf Twitter accounts to follow. I encourage anyone to respond here and tag a great golf follow….

I will disagree and this is coming from a fan of Tiger’s. Beyond the DUI which could be prescription medication. The speed limit was likely 25 mph in that neighborhood and by the description + the fact that he rolled his SUV indicates his speed was excessive. This is also not an isolated incident. He was lucky nobody else was injured or killed. If his prescriptions inhibit his ability to drive (judging by the last two times he has rolled a car) he should not be behind the wheel. I hope he loses his license for atleast a year- if only for his own safety.

I've never understood why Tiger Woods has so much sway over PGA TOUR strategic decisions. Tiger doesn't always make the best choices. None of us are perfect, I get it. Tiger is the greatest golfer ever. But being good at golf doesn't mean you know what is good for golf.
