Software update to my #0nePlus7T 7T has effectively disabled whatsapp for me and other #oneplus phone users. Over 6 weeks now and they are not just failing to fix but doing their best to IGNORE us.

@OnePlus_Support This is clearly a bug caused by software update, not an individual customer issue. You are not being straight with us.

@OnePlus_Support I have already spoken to your chat support. They suggested sending in my phone for some form of 'servicing', and linked me in to a web form. As I am in the UK, that essentially means sending my phone off to mainland Europe and being without it for 7-9 days.
